First time here, sent over from Gly and Laura! Amazing video. There is no other way you could explore this shaft so it really is a chance to see what would otherwise be impossible. Amazing the hours of physical toil, time, patience, blood and sweat, not to mention all the timber, that went into these ventures. Thanks for sharing.

Mr. M, this incredible footage has made you America’s undisputed number one mine shaft videographer. Nobody else comes close to you in this niche, including Gly Coolness. This video was perfect. The production standards were high, the musical score and narration were beyond that expected of a so called amateur KZbin film maker (you definitely aren’t an amateur anymore). Btw, the music at the bottom of the shaft as you fed excess line down was definitely not obnoxious. It was well chosen and perfect for that scene. Welcome on board Dave. I hope you know what you are letting yourself in for. Btw, that red anomaly from the Schnoz v2.2 instantly reminded me of sliced radish from a salad. This is actually a good thing as far as I am concerned.

Maybe put a mercury switch on the device so when it tips over after bottoming out, it makes a sound or turns on a light or some other kind of alert (i know its hard to see the light or hear a sound down a shaft, but there may be an idea a smarter man than I can think of to alert you in those conditions)
