Just a guess but I'm inclined to think the heavy metals in the water that is used for the tea loads the liquid down a bit and the tea acts like a stabilizer. That's how things work in Nevada.

I missed your posts while you & Gly were out for business reasons (well....also for "time out" reasons too.)Glad that you are both "back in the saddle"......again. Look at all those neat Joshua trees as you two drive out. So different than Wisc. At 16:01, Mr. M does not look too enthusiastic when Gly talks of getting equip. ready. I hope that the temps. had come down some for this adventure. Sure has been a hot one this Summer for alot of the country. Glad that you're back!

Nothing to be afraid of! Either Gly's personal knowingness of the danger, or a friendly spirit protecting you guys saved the day. My own personal feelings were that that hole he was crawling into was way to sketchy. I didn't see any rock fall on him and at that point my thought was that someone else was there protecting Gly. I have had several situations in life that saved me in similar ways and many of my friends have had similar experiences. Either way, it's a good thing. Love you guys!

Love how you drink coffee or tea in a house cup i do the same in my old 89 Buick that i had the last 20 years on the way to work every day but I got one of those plastic cup holders that fit on the door cut the hook off and screwed it to the dash and yes it has a slot for the cup handle . it still cracks me up at how well the mechanical advantage of the schnozz works. but boy does having all that steel hug out away from the pivot do a good job. looking at the first unit from the front of the jeep, almost all Gly's weight is soaked up in the mass, so that union is actually drooping, and the rest are in tension. hooked to the jeep like that, you could probably pull hard enough to collapse the legs out front before you even took much weight off the front of the jeep. even with 2 fewer sections, you would destroy the schnozz before you moved the jeep much. the way it is now, you could probably just drop 200 lbs of sandbags on the end and have a stable platform with a few thousand lbs of lift. I only say that because I know that jeep has more cable and it would be fun to see Gly come out like superman in one pull

Hey guys, I've been following you now since almost the beginning. Love your stuff. One thing I wanted to throw at you guys to consider is safety of anyone around verticals. In technical rescue have to be on an edge limiting system if we are within 10 ft of a cliff or hole. You guys might want to consider that for yourselves just in case something was to happen and someone trips or something gives way so don't fall down the verticals. A rope just long enough to get to the edge or using a prusik as a limiter works great. Keep up the great work hope you guys see this and consider it.

Things are going bad for quite a few people these days and when things go bad, we don't feel good. Kind of makes sense! Thank God most of the time they are never as bad as it looks when everything goes wrong. If people do you bad just remember they are making their karma! How you react to it is yours! Try it...see what comes into your mind. Do it as often as you need to. ..

Well. Im sorry to hear this. I've been down low 3 times in my life. Thought the pain would never end. This I know. It gets better. I drink tea, because there have been times in my life, I needed something anything to keep from slipping off the edge. I found that having something to do 3 times a day would keep me busy kind of. So, it turned into a thing for me. Each tea pot. Pour the water. Wait 10 minutes. Get the tea bag out. Wash the cup. Steep the tea. Stirring slowly 20 times to mic the honey. Gently set the teaspoon on the saucer. Sit and simply enjoy the process. That's all I had. It worked for me. Please be easy on yourself. I'm glad you enjoy my show. Thank you. El Magnifico!
