I don't know what dropper wheels are. Can you not replace them one at a time?

​@@howtodostuffchannelIts basically just steel rims. My fear is that the dropper wheels are significantly smaller than the current wheels. 80cm diameter vs 30cm diameter. The concern is that due to the significant height difference, doing one at a time will result in tipping and knocking / falling off of the jack. And there is only a max clearance of 14cm between hub and floor.

Don't worry, it's a sound joint. I did have some issues with the first few I tried but the final ones were good. They have been in place for a good few years now. Good to mention it though and to provide some advice on how to use the connectors :)

Thanks. The update after running these tyres for a couple of seasons is that they do puncture themselves if used on hard surfaces after a couple of seasons (depending on how far you travel). It's just a shame you can't get them without the spikes.

Rubber bung in F&E outlet. 22mm speed fit stop end on the vent pipe. You will get a few cups of water when you loosen the valve. This prevents air locks when re-filling

Hi, I got a big box of them from amazon. It happened that one fit. Otherwise you could try the manufacturer of the valve or measure with a caliper or micrometer and see if you can find one the same size.

It depends on what you are trying to do. Is this an above ground pond where the fibreglass forms the walls or an infill where the fibreglass forms the water barrier and does not need structural strength? If it's the former then Id look up what they use to build small boats/canoes. If it's an infill then perhaps 2 or three layers of glass matting (presumably laid in the hole over some light glass sheet rather than built and then set in?). Ive never built a pond so this is more of a guess. Perhaps someone else on the channel has more direct experience?

All windows need to be shut or the rain will get in. I sometimes wonder about the roof light though. However, in very heavy rain our one leaks so I leave it shut. It's worth visiting every so often to make sure it not getting damp in there (you can add one of those dehumidifier things) and to air it all out.

In general it’s a good idea to disconnect the battery negative when working on car electrics. Reason is that if you touch a live wire to the body it will spark. However when changing a bulb it’s quite difficult to short a live to earth because the lights will be dead so long as the ignition is off. It’s up to you at the end of the day. It will give you an extra safety layer.

What I would do is to cut a piece of softwood to approx the right size and glue it into the hole with wood glue. When its dry cut off any excess and then fill the gaps with car body filler (I use Isopon but others are available)

That's strange. Are your chisels very short or an odd shape? Do you have the chisel held in the correct slot in the tool? (there is one for chisels and one for a plane)

Combi boilers have the pump built in (and you don't need a valve). Otherwise the pump and valve are usually together with the hot water tank (in my limited experience). My advice would be to get a corgi registered person to come and tell you what's going on with it.

Yep, all good stuff.

What can I say? Ive used it with a flat tyre and it worked. You just put the jack under the axle if it won't fit under the chassis. Yes, the trolley jack is the best tool for the job but I don't carry one on holiday with me....they are heavy.
