Reminds me of that day back in 2014 when I woke one morning and news reporters were suddenly saying a new word: 'Isis'; or 'Isil'. (I remember thinking "whoever these Isil people are they've got unbelievable PR power".)

The bored looking barmaid is Alice Lowe - also played one of Roy's girlfriends in the IT Crowd, I think the one where he had chocolate on his face. She first appeared with Richard Ayoade in a stage show "Garth Marenghi's Fright Night" & went on to star with both him and Matt (Douglas) Berry in Channel 4's "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" - highly recommended for a reaction. She went on to write & star in the black comedy film "SightSeers" - again, recommended for a reaction!

5 day cricket is the most technical because the aerodynamics of the ball and the condition of the pitch deteriorates from day to day. So the skills needed on day 1 are very different form those needed on day 5. The tv is on in the background at most homes & offices for 5 days and people keep an eye on things while they go about their day - stopping to watch when the match takes a sudden twist.

True. Us Brita do have a trained ear for accents, as we have at least 40 that we hear. Like Indian English with a Lomdon accent, to Polish English, you get the picture. The American accent is just another English accent version ue Brits interact with in real life or from movies and TV. Also the American accent is an old accent that used to be part of Britian, the Quaker accent of which was talen to the new world. Over time American accent went regional to north south and east and west. Like the UK has regional accents, just more of them.
