Hello, Thanks for your comment, it is much apreciates ! There is excatly the same shape of track that you see on top of the layout, hidden under the frame but mirorred. The two tunnels (Wood and concrete) are connected each other by a hidden track. This is made to broke the oval shape of traditionnal looped layout to get a better scenery. Thanks for your comment Emmanuel ! The noise could be better, it is not the less noisy of the turntables on the market. But it's the only one available with a long 130' bridge. The other ones are much shorter. The design is Typically US, also an important point for me. And last the automatic posisionning works very well, and you are able to put the tracks everywhere you need by programming the device (easy to do)... on the Fleishmann, you need to put the track on the slots provided by the manufacturer. I like a lot this liberty that it provide to design the layouts track plan. My two cents ! Best regards from France. Jef

Oui oui, je suis français ! J'ai moitié d'abonnés anglophones, moitié Francophones, donc je suis obligé de faire un peu des deux dans mes vidéos . ;-) Comme je vous le disais, il fait un peu un bruit de casserole mais il fonctionne vraiment très bien ! Il est très réaliste et bien détaillé (surtout en N), le système de programmation est simple et intuitif et c'est le seul pont qui permet de tourner les grosse locos articulées comme les challengers, les big boys ou les FEF3. Hello Robert. I'm sorry but i have built this without plans or drawings. It's my own version of different cranes i have seen onto pictures got on the internet. I have the project to made an article for Continental Modeller, whitch will explain the built with photos. But i need to write it and C.M. had to accept to publish the submition. In the middle of france it is now Sunrise at 7h10 A.M. an Sunset at 8:30 P.M. I'm very impatient to get get longer days and less moisture ;-) ( only one Sunny day in two weeks). Bonjour, L'autorail X2807 des CFHF (Chemins de Fer du Haut Forez) faisait aussi parti de cet étrange rame en vue de son rapatriement aux ACC de Clermont-Ferrand pour réparation . L'engin ayant été endommagé par une collision avec un Tracteur agricole qui confondait la voie des CFHF avec un chemin de remembrement.

Excellente nouvelle ! Je suis comptent qu'elle soit sauvée et en état de marche !

Oui, le 68081 est préservé en livrée d'origine et il est en service.

Exact je l'ai vu dépanné une 72000 en gare de langres cette été peu de temps après la mise en service des coradia.

chrisVes1 et c'est exact je l'ai en photo prise au dépôt de mohon l'année dernière avec un train de machine.

Le 68500 assurait le train de papier/carton entre la papeterie de Giroux et la Cartonnerie de Courpiére conjointement avec un 66400 aussi loué à la SNCF. Agrivap n'assure plus ce service depuis cette année. Il est confié à la société Combrail. L'association a cependant conservé le 66400. Le sous-marin hormis un souci de batteries, qui ont tendance à ne pas tenir chargées est en parfait état de fonctionnement.

Non, Agrivap n'avait que cette locomotive de type 68500. Cette machine à été rendu à la SNCF qui l'avais loué à Agrivap suite à une grave panne moteur. C'est la SNCF qui la gare pour pièces ... mais il est fort probable que l'engin sera ferraillé.

JE peux te dire que non carje viens d'aller la voir à Chalindrey et elle est encore avec toutes ses pieces !

Ils l'ont réparé ? Tu dis qu'il ne manque aucune pièce : tu constateras sur la vidéo ci dessus qu'il y avait, déjà au départ de Courpiére, plusieurs vitres latérales de cassées ainsi qu'un parebrise, un fanal rouge arraché et un phare de cassé. L'engin ayant été vandalisé peu avant son départ. Si elle était intacte à Chalindrey comme tu semble l'évoquer ( et non garée en attente de prélèvement de pièces à Sotteville comme me l'a confié l'équipe d’accompagnement, je ne suis pas un menteur je rapporte des propos recueillis), elle à donc été réparée . . . Très bonne nouvelle bien qu'étonnant. Des Photos ? C'est une excellente nouvelle si elle échappe à la cannibalisation. C'est vraiment une belle machine et j'étais attristé de son départ d'Agrivap !

Hi ! The blue locomotive is still in service (for a wile) in the french railway company. The Yellow will be stored for some time, to be a spare parts reserve and will be scrap after some delay ... The red rail car is going to be repaired at a specialised wokshop because it have been hurted by a truck at a crossing and damaged.

Oui ! Le traitement secondaire à l'huile de lin est fait pour protéger le bois des intempéries en extérieur. Dans un local chaud et sec un traitement thé et limaille est suffisant. Par contre le passage du thé est obligatoire car c'est lui qui amené les tanins qui seront en suite oxydés au vinaigre plus limaille de fer.

I am in the center of France. In Auvergne, the country of vulcans and the Michelin tire company. ;-) We had very wet an cold winter and very dry and hot summer.

what kind of wood do you use for this, it really looks great

It is fir tree, tinted with black tea to load it with tannin. After the tea have dryed, i oxyed it with a mix of white vinegar and iron wool solved in it. After a day of drying the wood is naturaly greyed. After that i protect the wood with lin seed oil and turpentine.

would you perchance be willing to cut a second set of pieces for whatever cost? those are the next gen of the cars Pittsburgh uses, and no model is available; while my layout is Boston, I would rather like a piece of Pittsburgh stock to run on it.

It is N scale, your layout is N scale Too ? The ploter i used is a property of a friend witch is a little bit far from my house. He let's me used he's device for some days and i dont know when he will be able to lend it me again. If you want, what i can easily do, is to sent you the file by e-mail and you need to find a friend witch have a CAMEO silouette to cut the file on evegreen .010" ref 9010. (two layer of plastic cards for eatch sides and roof). I live in France (i am french. . . nobody is perfect lol ;-) ) it will be a little bit costly to ship to you the pieces and it will bring me lots of time to get the device and cut again the pieces. I am not very proud of this built ... and i was not planning to do more bodys soon. Have you seen the video of the bogestra from Hobby train?
