Awesome photos, such a beautiful place! No bear sightings? I was born in Kodiak (1957), but we moved while I was still too young to remember it...what a shame!

Hope you had a great time! Mosquitoes are horrible. I live in SC and I have to soak myself with Off Spray when I go to the beach at night. Even worse when there's no breeze.
@Chris61345 жыл бұрын
Oh shit I can't believe what I'm hearing these days! You have to pay to go fishing in this country now?? Hell I was there last in 2002 when I camped out in Padre Island in my car for 3 months and I use to camp out in my car right there. I don't remember that sign about smuggling and all that LOL All I remember was them warning about soft sand and the turtle thing and that was it......

You all sound like a bunch of middle schoolers. Dumb ass jokes and laughing and giggling like kids. I thought this was going to be a serious video showing the beauty and wildlife of Denali. Instead, it's a bunch of spoiled children.
@mf120608256 жыл бұрын
That is such a rude thing to say, I bet when you are with friends and family you dont have a serious face. Alaska is all about having fun and being with people you love to experience the journey. Try not to judge people so harshly, clearly they are nice and happy people and you are not.
@terrismith96626 жыл бұрын
I thought you weren't allowed to drive inside the park.
@onemanwandering6 жыл бұрын
You can drive the first 15 miles. Where we stayed (Teklanika) is the exception to the rule, however you can only drive in initially to the camp spot (~35 miles in if I remember correctly) and drive out on departure. Also some cars are allowed to drive unrestricted with a special photography permit.

dude, it's $68 bucks for both the fishing license and the salt stamp for the entire year. its a bargain if you love to fish like I do. The idea is that the natural resources belong to the American public. pay to play.

nice lil vid, man! fyi that was a redfish you ate. Also you can only keep 3 between 20"-28" in texas, also known as slot reds. you can aquire a oversize fish with a tag use. you done good buying the overpriced license, but illegal game size is as bad as not having a license. now I'm going to check out your other vids. looks like your living right!

Nice! You crack me up "Their English was not very good, and my French...well, I don't have any French" LOL. Yes, I have been on the Alaskan/Canadian highway 8 times (never alone though) and it is true, the beauty itself can almost become numbing. If that makes any sense. I have driven from Baltimore to Phoenix in one haul, and for some reason it did not seem as daunting as taking on an Alaska trip. I guess you are right it's the "Not knowing" and being in the middle of nowhere if you beak down, that can be a bit taxing on the mind for sure! And of course that makes it all the better once done! :-) Mike, you have made me decide I need to get a lav mic (though I don't like them) for my travels, because it is just a bit hard to hear you over the road and the music. Funny side note: I am not sure why, but it almost always seems like on that road, you see almost no animals at all...until you speak out loud about not seeing any, well lol, that is when you need to turn the camera on! Seems every time within another half hour of saying that, BAM there is a bear, or some wolves, etc. Great video, look forward to seeing more! Safe travels to you man!
