Minwax has a golden oak colored wood filler that would be a better match than the darker brown ones used in this video.
@LongologoProductionsКүн бұрын
Thanks. See starting at 3:06 where the ones used in this video are just examples and noting that the fillers have different numbers based on how dark they are and what tones are desired. Also, lighting has an impact on how well the chosen color matches the wood color so no harm in blending two colors if needed. In my case I used what I had for demonstration purposes and mentioned that I was going to be covering it with an area rug anyway so it wouldn’t matter.

Excellent content! There is another washer which was somehow omitted from the video. Without it, water will leak between the bottom of the handle assembly and the top of the base. Its location is between the collar and the top of the base. This washer is also a part of the handle/lever assembly. Otherwise A+

@peterandkodiak9762: Interesting. At 2:15, you can see that the spout o-ring kit part # 96778 only comes with two o-rings for installation where shown. Perhaps you are referring to another o-ring as part of a diverter if you have a separate sprayer. See the parts diagram at www.moen.com/products/Legend/Legend-Chrome-one-handle-low-arc-kitchen-faucet/7300

An older series, which has the same associated parts as illustrated in the attachment here. At 1:14 the "Retainer pivot (collar) nut, when unloosened, exposes a wafer grommet, which apparently was missing from your assembly. This is part of the handle assembly kit, available from Moen.

Hi! I have this toaster and it's working fine except for one thing. The toast does not go down all the way. Mine stops about an inch or so from the bottom, so the top of the toast is still sticking out above the opening. Any idea how this can be adjusted?
@LongologoProductions16 күн бұрын
You'll have to look for something obstructing the full range of travel of the lever that lowers and raises the bread holder. See 12:24 in the video. That lever has to go all the way down and click, which should in turn allow the metal strips that hold the bottom of the bread. Good luck!
@jjsolis825916 күн бұрын
@@LongologoProductions Thanks for the reply. The toaster was recently taken apart, cleaned and rewired. There were no foreign obstructions. The lever goes all the way down, clicks and holds the bread down. However, the metal strips that hold the bread stop an inch too soon. It's as if there is a misalignment between the lever and the bread holders. I examined it thoroughly and just can't figure it out. It had this issue when I first purchased it years ago. Could it be a manufacturing defect?
@LongologoProductions16 күн бұрын
@@jjsolis8259 : These toasters were made like tanks so I’d really be surprised if it was a manufacturing defect. Perhaps the metal arm that attaches to the bread holder is itself bent? Maybe at some point years ago the toast got jammed or somebody forced the lever and something got bent? The only way to tell for sure would be to take it apart again so you can see all the metal parts that contribute to raising and lowering the bread holder, and observe what is limiting the full range of travel. The only other thing I can think of is that the metal pieces that help lower the bread holder is catching on something in the one of the two slots that they ride up and down in (located toward the front of the toaster opposite decide with the electrical plug), i.e., one or both of the slots are pinching the end or ends of the bread holder pieces.

HaHa, brilliant! Just fixed the issue on my CRV. I used an eraser to clean the bulb contacts, then DeOxit on the contacts along with scraping a bit with some sharp tweezers. (DeOxit is freakin' magic.) Edit: What threw me on this one was the fact that the bulb still worked, but dimly. Old style thermal flashers would flash SLOWER if the load was lower, and faster when heavier - like if you attached a trailer and spliced in the trailer's turn signals in parallel with the car's.

Hi, me again,i have another question for you, do you know where the wiper relay is on a 85 Caprice Classic ?
@LongologoProductionsАй бұрын
If you have the multiplex pulse wiper motor and pump assembly, then the pulse relay, the washer pump relay, and the park relay should all be on a logic circuit board over the washer pump itself behind a black cap. My car originally had the base two-speed wiper system, but I replaced it over 25 years ago and upgraded it to the multiplex. I vaguely remember that there might have been a white rectangular connector or box somewhere inside the steering column to facilitate the connection to the replacement intermittent wiper and turn signal assembly, but I’m not sure. Bottom line is, according to the shop manual, the relays themselves are on the circuit board that is on the wiper washer unit itself, which is just in front of the driver in the engine bay. I hope this helps and good luck.
