I don't mind hearing you talking, but was not a big fan of the sped up high pitched talking during finishing. I like listening to tools sped up, not voices so much lol

Whirlwind of a project, especially if you're trying to film too! Results were great as usual! Looking forward to the upcoming videos, especially the house and shop building stuff. Big projects! My recommendations for future videos are some sort of 2142 crossover content. Just kidding, keep doing what you do. May I suggest some Treecycled merch? Not sure if that would be worth the while for you but I'd probably nab a hoodie. Oh, and for the love of your respiratory system man, please carry some N95s around with you, especially for sanding and routing!

Yeah.. I should have had a mask with me for sure.. I normally wear one the second I step in my shop. Merch is in development!! I'm actually setting up a screen printing setup when my new shop is finished.. so that's still a bit down the road.... Huge project on the editing table in the meanwhile. New video in a week or so!

Have you considered sorting the planks by color, and having some kind of pattern?
@eitantal7262 күн бұрын
32:27 Yikes, these screws are much too short for my taste. I had legs (caster wheels actually) tear and break off when short screws have been used. I guess its ok if you have enough leverage, and you do

I see that you have 2 different planers: Dewalt for the faces, and Craftsman for the slabs (18:03). Why?

25:15 what is the purpose of clamping while cross-cutting?

That saw had a super aggressive blade, would actually shift the wood as I cut it, the clamp could hold like 10.boards in place at once. Thanks for watching!!!

when you glue a layer to the next, you also add bradnails. what is the purpose of the brad nail?
@treecycled4 күн бұрын
@@eitantal726 to stop the pieces from shifting while I'm gluing up later to layer, at this point I didn't have the required jig that I needed, that I currently have, I don't use brads anymore from layer to layer

A lots of content "creators" are not creating anymore for some reason. Not sure what is going on but it's a bit said. So the other day I decided to purge my subscriptions. My finger howered over treecycled delete button for what it seamed to be an eternity. I remembered old school days and garage shop with mounts of palettes and bin heat fire so I said, naaaah. I am glad I did not. Good to see you are back and that fresh plans with new shop are in brewing. All the best. 👍👊💪

What is the name of the punch you used to remove the nails? I’ve been dismantling heavy duty pallets from a metal stamping business and they are pretty tough to get out of maple and oak.

Thanks for the video, it was useful to watch. Personally though,i thought some sections were too repetitive. Watching wood being put through the planner or belt sander gets boring real quickly.

I think that it would help you if you put that assembly board on the other side of your workbench. Then all you would have to do is turn around to use the miter saw instead of walking all the way around like you are doing to trim the ends. Great video and build by the way looks great.
