what a delight to have found your channel! i probably got recommended you since im watching a lot of dollar tree dinners and i guarantee the algorithm can tell i have adhd lol. your channel may be adhd friendly but allison being distracting in the background is definitely a focusing challenge lol XD. im hoping to have my own kids in the next few years and learning to make budget friendly food definitely helps that goal feel more feasible. about to binge watch your vids and i will definitely check out your etsy for when i get paid, i appreciate how accessible your resources are!

Don't ever quit your very good videos. I am 70yrs old, come from a large family of nine kids, i still do my own cooking and baking meals and i do like how you have shown me how to stretch the buck and you have such good ideas and what you can do while saving $$$ . I unfortunately picked up on my mom's way of shopping as she bought tons for groceries still as a widow just as if we were still a family of nine, stocking up on huge grocery purcheses every single month. I need these great ideas. Thank you so much. I have tried to keep salt down to no salt and I buy items with no soy. It's a little bit of extra work trying to get it just right. TWO THUMBS UP and a hug 🤗 thank you for your blessings to us who enjoy your videos and your time. God Bless you and your sweet family.

What a great haul Jaime!😍 Your meal charts are incredible!😘 Everything is so organized with the shopping lists, recipes and everything you need to have meals ready for several weeks!😚 I get depressed when I walk into a grocery store!😩 The prices are so ridiculous and that makes it harder for some to be able to afford many things these days. I always wait to see how much you pay for eggs. That lets us know what to expect when going to the store. Something that's helping me out is our trips to Costco! I got two dozen eggs for around $4.50! I also got a 10 lb bag of baking potatoes for about $4.50 too!☺️ I also got a box of Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix! It has 4 pouches of mix and 4 pouches of pecans! You can make one standard loaf pan, 3 mini loaf pans, 12-14 standard muffins or 28-30 mini muffins! You can also make Pumpkin Spice cookies or pancakes! This box was under $5 but I saw a video yesterday and it's now $2.97!😁 I've been driving a friend to Costco for a few months now. I've been able to pick up quite a few things that help with meal planning! You have a membership at Sam's and new sales begin on December 4th. My sister and I are planning a trip to Sam's later this week. I got lobster ravioli at Costco the last time we went. Last night I made an Alfredo sauce from scratch! I had gotten heavy cream at Costco which was perfect for the Alfredo sauce. I melted the butter and added some cream and Parmesan cheese. I had also gotten a 3-pack of Boursin cheese on sale at Costco. I added a little of the garlic and herbs for the garlic flavor. The Alfredo sauce turned out so good and was wonderful on the lobster ravioli! The ravioli was a 2-pack so we split it so we each had one. They were huge ravioli and I have enough for another meal! I used to go to Sam's a lot but haven't been in a while. I have a Sam's credit card that expired in 2022! I finally called them and got a new card so I can go again without tagging along with my sister.😉 You could possibly find a bigger container of oatmeal at Sam's for less than what you're paying at a regular grocery store. There are also other staples you can get at Sam's. I know a lot of people just go there for paper goods. But there are so many food items you can stock up on. Sam's produce is superior and you can find some great deals. You can get a larger container of raspberries for Allison and if she doesn't finish them, you can freeze them! When we're planning a trip to Costco, I always watch videos to see their deals. There are two people I've found who have great videos and know what they're doing! One of them also goes to Sam's and I watch her videos to see what's on sale. She just hit 100,000 subscribers and I can send you her videos. She also goes to Trader Joe's and Aldi. I just find it so helpful to watch these videos when I'm planning a trip. They do all the legwork and show you things that you would have never thought of. The warehouse stores are good for finding wonderful deals! And with grocery prices, we all need a little help! You're so encouraging with your meal plans (and all your lists)! Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰

Onions should last you longer than a week

Yep, they'll last longer than that. I usually forget about them though, so sometimes it's just easier for me to freeze what I know I won't use. =)

Are there any store bought creamy dressings anyone would recommend that do not taste very vinegary? Even if it has vinegar, it's okay as long as you can't taste the vinegar as my partner does not like the taste. I make homemade dressings but would also be handy to have a store bought one. Thanks in advance.

I love the Bolthouse Farm salad dressings! They're really creamy; and they may be a tad pricey but I highly recommend them.

@@NoGettingOffThisTrain Thank you so much for your reply as sometimes it's nice to just grab a store bought dressing but many taste too vinegary. Thanks again.😊

If the veges are all washed ahead all in one go that helps a lot as all you need to do is just chop away. Great video. Love this idea. Thankyou!!

I love the meal themes idea. I was just buying staples every month and then would just cook something with them but love this idea even more cause I don't have to keep thinking of what to eat especially on those busy days. Love the Trello board idea too. Will use these ideas. Thankyou!!. The one thing I do that helps me a lot is wash my veges and let them air dry for the week's meals so then when I cook that week the veges are already washed. Saves me a lot of time and hassle.

I remember going to my aunt’s house for thanksgiving. We had a big get together. There were around ten of us. We had a feast. My uncle said a prayer. The food was delicious and nutritious. We don’t celebrate together anymore because they moved far away. I still love my family.
