Menzies embarrassed that a senior darts player that couldnt get a tour card beat his 🫏. Its a joke how many of the 96 get to qualify outside of being top 128. Most are making up numbers lets be honest, until we see real cream of crop last 16 onwards.

\Must be touch nerves beat him , i always felt he was a very good darter just today doubles were very poor and i did feel doubles was his weak point in the game , maybe needs to sort them doubles out and the nerves and concentrate on his game only ..As saying goes play the board not the player although is tough to do so at times ..I think Menzies is a very good player just was not his day , all have off days in darts now and then ..Gates may not hit another ton plus check out in his following game to come ? All boils down to form on the day and touch luck .

He does it all the time, he’s emotionally weak and the weak don’t go on to do great things they just get stuck at one level and then drift away, he needs to stop all the soppy stuff and the silly behaviour that he does a lot and toughen up.

The passing of Donna was made public in the pre show broadcast around 6:30pm. This press conference was conducted around 11:30pm. The news was public and Luke spoke excellently about such a sad topic.
