He does it all the time, he’s emotionally weak and the weak don’t go on to do great things they just get stuck at one level and then drift away, he needs to stop all the soppy stuff and the silly behaviour that he does a lot and toughen up.

Seeing Menzies on stage, it's like he feels that he needs to please the crowds, or do things to make the crowd like him. I don't know why he bothers as it seems to take so much energy from him. 5 legs into any game and he stands there sweating, looking exhausted. What Gates says is right: you need to feed off that energy, even/especially if it's negative.

As an American, I know that we are behind the rest of the world when it comes to darts, especially steel tip. I think it is great we are developing players, and getting a toe in the pool of fantastic world class players. I hope everyone who represents us in this sport gets to enjoy success, and exhibit the kind of sportsmanship and humility that makes our emergence into the world stage something to be proud of. All we need to do is show the world class players the respect they deserve, the rest will take care of itself as we improve.

Felt for Menzies at the end of that game. Hope he figures it out and keeps going, been playing well lately, but have to look after the mental health too. I suffer from panic attacks from time to time, so if that is what happened to him, in front of a huge crowd booing him ... that would not have been a pleasant feeling at all. Or maybe it was just a case of, the crowd and maybe the pressure got to him.

I would say 90% of the crowd have probably never flung a dart at a board let alone played darts in their lives, they are there for a piss up end off,if they had played darts they would know there is belive it or not an etiquette involved, other dart players will know what im talking about, having said that and i know his dad is ill but Menzies and i actually like the guy,but he defo gets far to emotional and frankly embarrassing the majority of times,he needs to work out a way of harnessing that and turning it into a positive thing, because on his game he is a cracking dart player.

The crowd was on his back, his girlfriend is the queen of the palace and I think all it of it too much for cammy. Soutar played earlier in the day and handled the crowd perfectly. We all know he's a much better player than that as he's been proving this year. Hopefully it doesn't know too much out of him. Cause he's a looper that wears his heart on his sleeve. He needs to control the emotions a bit more. Best of lick to him.

Menzies embarrassed that a senior darts player that couldnt get a tour card beat his 🫏. Its a joke how many of the 96 get to qualify outside of being top 128. Most are making up numbers lets be honest, until we see real cream of crop last 16 onwards.

What do you want the Worlds to be, a 4 day tournament for the top 16. The idea is to give players a route to qualify from the four corners of the World. Its expanding next year, so even more players can make up the numbers.
