Tbh- turning this version down is just as good, the piano is much heavier so it’s almost a totally better version while quieter

The tragedy of human existence, having to die just as one begins to grasp the meaning. The sorrow of realizing that many moments of love have already passed, yet are infinitely precious and timeless for that reason. Love and the sadness of impermanence, the two poles of the universe, united in a single piece of music. Weep and smile, smile and weep...

This song is one of the best pieces of music ever written. It feels like birth, like death, like everything in between. It says life so hard, so horrible sometimes but worth it. Because at the end of the day, Earth is just so beautiful. Think about it! We get to experience this? We get to see the sun glinting off the leaves in the sunrise? We get to see snow falling on the trees, drifting down onto the grass making smooth patterns? We get to see happiness, love, and joy all around us. That’s so amazing! It says there is only one of these chances, to get to see the beauty around us. One chance to bring beauty into the world.

I was unhappy most of the time and this discontentment was causing me adverse effects and was alienating me from people who I constantly judged. It took a lot of effort to put meditation as a priority. I changed my diet too and began taking a walk outside most days and journaling. It has helped.

19:31 really taught me a valuable lesson. I suffer from hallucinations on a daily basis, but understanding the emotions of fear i feel and understanding that I’m the only thing that’s real is why I live. Buddhism has so much to teach the world, and I cannot be more thankful to this man and the mindset he shares.

Mumbo Jumbo. There is no mindfulness, no matter what you do, you will encounter obstacles and paradoxes. Delete all those channels from your feed and do what makes you feel good and forget about yourself, go find it no matter at what cost, the rest is all fantasy in man's head and nobody knows what is or what is not.

Thank you for this recording. Am grateful to be listening to this teaching. LOL despite the intrusive loudly coughing same few people in the audience throughout this entire session, who are at times louder in volume than Thich Nhat Hanh's voice.
