Thanks for your post. What CPU and GPU are you using? Im just got an i7 10th Gen w/ a GTX 1660 Ti. Looks amazing on the computer screen, but horrible, horrible HORRIBLE, when I output to the Quest 2 (block, choppy, low res, totally unplayable). For some reason, it displays on the PC Monitor AND the Quest simultaneously! I'm sure I'm doing something wrong! lol.

Something I will say about the first generation Vive base stations is that they are basically tanks. They're such simple devices and because of that, they're durable. Lasers are lasers and eventually they will burn out, but with these stations, they're not too hard to replace if you feel like doing that rather than buying a replacement station.

i bet this is an amazing tutorial for everyone else it's just the only problem is that I copy the boneworks directory to clipboard and paste it to the directory in r2 modman and when i hit start with melon loader it says melon loader not found or something like that. [by the way im on rift]

Lets all hope that the new Vive Focus Vision works well. Looks a bit like a cross between the VP2 and Focus 3 (also 2448x2448 res). Better MR cameras with IR lighting for hand tracking, eye tracking, and auto IPD. Too bad they still have fresnel lens, but might not be too bad. I've preordered one from Vive Australia (au$1899) and untill mid October, this includes the streaming with DisplayPort adapter, which I'm really looking forward to trying out with flight/racing sims with my i913900k/rtx4090 PC. Fingers and toes crossed!
