I hate it because its a shameful erasure of Disney history and nostalgia just to pander to the toxic left.

People don't like it because it replaced one of the most iconic theme park rides ever made. If it was built as an original attraction, I definitely think people would have liked it a lot more. But as it is, it's nothing more than an unwanted replacement.

I hope HKDL is also making a similar effort to WDW when it comes to weather related closures, as it is common for HKDL to close a few times per year due to typhoons. Recent closures: 2022: Chaba (1-2 Jul), Ma-On (24 Aug early closure), Nalgae (2 Nov early closure) 2023: Talim (17 Jul), Saola (1-2 Sep), Koiinu (8 Oct, late opening on 9 Oct) 2024: Yagi (5 Sep early closure, 6 Sep late opening), Toragi (14 Nov late opening)

I just got back from my Disney trip. I really wanted to build a droid, but I built a lightsaber on my first trip to Galaxy’s Edge and it wasn’t working correctly after a week. Disney didn’t offer any services back then. So it’s left a sour taste in my mouth.

We just got back from Disney yesterday. I have had 3 types of Cancer, the worst being Bone Cancer in my jaw. A piece of bone was removed from my leg to replace/reconstruct my face. I was denied a DAS pass. They offer scooters to rent or they tell you to have someone in your party wait in the line and you can sit somewhere until they get close. Trying to find a place to sit was near impossible and part of the fun of Disney is being WITH YOUR PARTY. My anxiety was through the roof trying to navigate the park on a scooter. I can’t tell you how many people looked right at me and walked “faster” across the front of me, or stopped abruptly in the middle of the street which in turn made me stop and then people behind me would walk into the scooter and be angry with me. Or they were looking at their phones while walking because of the new system. One parent almost swung his child right into the front of it. I chose not to even try to take it into a line that was designed to accommodate the scooter as it was hard enough to keep people, or kids, from being hit just getting to a ride. I made it through the day but physically paid for it through the night. I’m blessed that I have visited Disney in the past and knew the layout of the park. It helped with planning our day and cut out a lot of walking trying to figure out where things were. If this had been my first visit, it would have been my last. Good luck and God Bless to those of you that now “pay” for the deceit of others.

Was just at Disneyland last week!! And hell nah I won’t pay for extra $400 each 🤪🤯😡

Theyve now completely outpriced us and the saddest thing is you get so much less despite the never ending price increase. As an international visitor losing the Magical Express was a huge thing. A holiday that ysed to cost us 4-5k now would cost nearly 10k. Its mad. We're going to Edinburgh next year then thinking of Universal in 2026 when the Epic Universe crowds might have calmed down. We cant justify disney prices anymore

@nashdisneyexplorers6874Ай бұрын
@@yardenkeshet I have gone it with an Uber a couple of times without staying there and got in both times. Sometimes it will depend on the security guard, but most of the time they let the ride shares in.

Good morning, Jason. I agree with you 100% this would make sense if it was unlimited and you could park hop. I will pass on this pass. But you never know some might find value some might not. Keep up the great work.
@nashdisneyexplorers6874Ай бұрын
Thanks, I appreciate it. It’s a tough call because it’s a lot of money for a limited experience.
@michaelscarborough5726Ай бұрын
@nashdisneyexplorers6874 Right. It may make sense if you are on a business trip and randomly get the opportunity to go last sec for one day by yourself, maybe. But it is a big ask from disney.

Another episode of Disney being one of the scummiest companies in america, first the raising of the prices, the "wokness", runing their franchises is bad alone but the fact that its leading to giving a woman food that killed her and her husband is legally in the wrong because of his Disney+ subscription and ruining the DAS passes for multiple groups just because there are liars. the goverment needs to step in and make new laws because this is abusrd

@pamelaklemp5615Ай бұрын
Contrary to popular belief Disney World is probably one of the safest places you could have been during Hurricane 🌀 Milton in the Greater Orlando Area. They literally have an entire underground City there, complete with their own Police Department, Fire Stations, Hospital Facilities, etc. They also have virtually full control over their own properties by special specific laws (allegedly), much like a State within a State. That kind of alleged authority affords Disney the power to make certain critical decisions quickly without seeking or asking for outside assistance or approval from outsider influences, to a large degree anyways. I'm certain some limitations have been made in recent years but many of those "exception rights" that Disney put into place before building Disney World in Orlando are still in place. Glad everyone was safe there. We evacuated northbound ahead of Hurricane 🌀 Milton and returned yesterday evening. All is well here, no serious damage to our neighborhood. We were all very lucky.

Please don’t say “thoughts and prayers”. It has become a cliche with a negative message. Simply say “I’m so sorry for the people who are catastrophically affected by this situation” or something like that. Then pray for them on your own if that’s your belief. Thank you.

You aren’t thinking about the employees who have to leave their homes and families and drive in under dangerous conditions to keep you happy and Disney wealthy
@jc1400Ай бұрын
Employees stay on site during storms and they take volunteers on who is staying. . Many are willing to come take care of guests instead of abandoning them. People staying couldn’t get flights out, roads were blocked with traffic, gas stations were out of gas. So I guess the customers should have just camped in the parking lots? When you are in the hospitality business you actually have legal obligations to your paying guests. Abandoning them gets you charged with neglect and abuse.
