Great series, amazing project and superb filming ! Just curious how you know how much the tree can support - I know you've planned the structural design with the weight load in mind but would great to see in future video. Keep up the great work

Goodness. Nice work but someone get this guy a skill saw, speed square, and a nail gun.. and maybe watch some Larry Haun videos. Your tree house tho and I’m sure it’ll look great when done.
@BuildingInNature2 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and taking the time to write a comment. If it was a commercial build I would agree, but this is a personal project where speed and efficiency are not the most important. I'm happy with my little setup for now. The nail gun I don't like in the forest, because it is loud (you need ear protection and there will be no birds and animals around anymore) That said, the tools you mention will probably show up in some future episodes when I need them. Thanks for mentioning the speed square, I should use this one more often!

In my opinion, you could have taken an ordinary plastic film to temporarily protect the house from the rain. That way it would be cheaper and you would save a lot of plywood. Greetings from Ukraine! 🙂
@BuildingInNature17 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! I try to find alternatives to plastic if I can, I don't like that somehow it always deteriorates and ends up everywhere in small pieces. But yes, a plastic film would also work. The thin sheets of plywood are used and I got it for free, because they wanted to trow it away. So for this project it is a good solution. Greetings from The Netherlands.
