The next time my eld functions properly wil be the first time. I think I’ve had4 of them and none of them worked right. The one I have now is 6 weeks old and it’s the worst of the bunch. It’s pretty clear at this point that it’s never going to get better.

Waze is not good for trucking as it’s more based for cars, motorcycles and taxis. It won’t alert you if there’s a low bridge or certain places that you can’t get through just throwing that out there.

Same. Then I added a device in the middle of my contract and wanted to delete it 5 months later but they won't let me. so I told them good luck getting any more money from me. ill just go to one of your competitors. Then im going to put them on blast on my channel. to put salt in the wound.

Motive charges me $115 per month, ELD, and dash camera my 3-year contract ends by the middle of April. I doubt if buy a Garmin ELD and Garmin DAsh camera, somebody tell me if it is ok o if any other better option? , like the qualitythef de camera or if i can have more cameras in other brand?

Stay away from Verizon connect...... They have the worst customer service... And are a scam when it comes to canceling their contact... We gave them a 60 day notice and want 2k . Cause when we canceled they called us 3 weeks later and said we missed the proper deadline by a day ... Even tho we called them to cancel months prior cause the service is not good. They had recorded conversations of us wanting to cancel. And told us to call them again in September to cancel and still want to renew the contract. I'll just tell you to stay away. Their engineer team,even sucks. They don't know what wires do what, when it comes to the more technical advance gps systems they offer.... Just stay away from Verizon connect... There are better gps options, with better service than these guys...

Where did you find in rule 2 that you must leave and return to the same location 5 previous days? I understood that if you are not returning to the same location you do a paper log an also you can only have 8 paper logs in 30 days.

Im not a owner operator but I love it compared to my last job it's so easy to change your logs compared to what ever I was using b4 SMH but on the company site it is a contract and starts at 3 trucks I gotta go do more research I'm looking to become an owner operator

It could. According to Verizon, audio recording is off by default. However if you operate a US government vehicle cameras MAY be required to have audio enabled. To confirm whether audio recording is enabled in your rig, ask your Fleet Manager or refer to your company’s policy. *FYI, when audio recording IS enabled, privacy mode is unavailable and audio CONTINUES to be recorded when privacy covers are on. I understand this is not necessarily about the content of your video, but, far as I'm concerned, after driving for 35 years, I simply don't need no electronic box telling me when I'm supposed to be tired and when I can drive. I think it's the most ridiculous money racket contraption ever imposed on truckers. And just like everything else in life, I know it's a minute Few idiots that don't have enough sense to know when they need to stop and when they should go that has brought about this contraption.

So basically invade driver’s privacy. Got it. I get why companies use this software but from a driver’s perspective it seems like a huge invasion of privacy. Personally wouldn’t want to work for a company that has anything more than gps tracking, let alone inward facing cameras, but hey it’s all about the bottom line these days, ain’t it

Hi guys. Awsome video. I am relativly new to driving box trucks(not quit a year). I am a non-CDL Driveaway driver who works as an independent contractor for Draiver. They have not given us much guidence when it comes to logs. Could you make a video about that especialy with using Motive app. Thanks.

Motive has horrible customer service. They outsource phone calls and any kind of issues that have to do with the service that the CUSTOMER pays for. The customer will wait HOURS,,,yes that’s right, HOURS on the phone to get issues resolved with them. Highly recommend AGAINST using them.
