It could. According to Verizon, audio recording is off by default. However if you operate a US government vehicle cameras MAY be required to have audio enabled. To confirm whether audio recording is enabled in your rig, ask your Fleet Manager or refer to your company’s policy. *FYI, when audio recording IS enabled, privacy mode is unavailable and audio CONTINUES to be recorded when privacy covers are on.
