Eg 40% NZ? 5% France, 10% USA? Etc I only ask as it’s a method starting to get popular in Europe and wanted to see which countries are most interested in your video. Thanks in advance, Thom

@fisheatrepeat9 күн бұрын
@zeus-bx9xw 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 normally I don't care about trolls but I'll bite to this comment. Colby is a real dog. He just happens to be cute as fk. He's 27kg solid as fk, has a wicked bark on him and guards the house. Doesn't smell, doesn't need lots of walks he's a bloody great dog. Unlike a German Shephard needs tonnes of exercise which we don't have the time to do. Furthermore, toxic masculinity is a joke. There's neither a manly dog nor a feminine dog, they're just a pet that do a role, in this case it was a dog for myself and my wife. Lastly, I've been bitten by German Shephard dogs twice as a kid, unlike Colby who is extremely gentle with kids and elderly. I'll take my dog any day 🤙

This is the drone I want to start with, I’d rather loose a cheaper one than a Aeroo Pro. Will it fly out a small mullet livebait mate.
@fisheatrepeat25 күн бұрын
@craigwheaton2506 Hey mate I personally wouldn't start with a drone this small eh unless you want it for filming etc as well. It's far more difficult and the payload is much lower, and it struggles in the wind. Also, most older drones, you can't download current software to fly them! But if guna by one, I'd suggest the mavic air2s can get a gannetx sport release from dronefishing.co.nz too!

Wicked Video bro, the sacrificial trace what weight line is that?
@fisheatrepeat25 күн бұрын
@craigwheaton2506 thanks mate!! Um it varies eh usually I run 50lb. But if going for big fish, sharks liveys etc ill probably run 80lb eh. Its completely up to you 🤙 I've found with the aeroo pro it now use a 300lb loop not trace that connects to the drone eh since is much more rigid easier to use (if you're using an auto release yourself) as the diameter doesn't need to be thin like a manual tension-release

Thanks Dave. Once again thank you for this great info! I hope you won't mind if i ask a couple of questions. I also have an Aeroo pro and just love it. What is the optimum time you would leave your line out if no bites detected. And i have also noticed the line drifts wildly away from the drop zone. What is the best weight sinker you would use. Love your channel! Keep up the good work

@fisheatrepeatАй бұрын
@RichardNorthover60 and to answer your question re soaking baits I feel I don't know that myself 😂 sometimes 10 mins works sometimes 30 it depends how big the fish are i think and type of hook. Proper long line hooks "should" hold fish for ages but yea I think 30 minutes usually enough 🤔 as for moving baits. Ideally your baits shouldn't move! As I said in the vid try chain-linking sinkers or reduce no. Of hooks/trace to reduce drag. Try rubberband/cable tie your sinker prongs so they stay stuck, and also recently I've added about 50m of topshot mono to my reel. As mono absorbs swell much better that seems to have helped too! Thanks for the comment tho glad it helped!

Hard luck bro. I had a bit of the same morning just pulling in shark after shark so wasn’t any good for the content side of things but still heaps of fun. I’ve noticed that the high wind fly with caution message came through and then the drone slowed down to like 5m per sec to try and stabilise the video footage. If you go into settings when you get that message then turn on the high wind mode it will have higher wind resistance and will not give a shit about the wind. This setting defaults back to off after every flight though so you will have to flick it back on every time.
@fisheatrepeatАй бұрын
@FishingAdventuresHB oh cheers for that bro!! I don't actually mind the warning it was mental high winds tho so it's all good if flying a bit slower but I'll keep that in mind
@Aeroo_Drones16 күн бұрын
Great to hear you guys pushing the drone in these high winds! 😎 Just a heads-up, we don’t recommend flying with a payload attached in high wind mode. The tilt of the drone increases, which can raise the chance of entanglement with the propellers (this is also displayed in the app). Happy flying and stay safe out there 👍🏻
