Grass carp were added to all the storm water dams around botany to keep sediment down , signs saying no fishing still stand at most of them.

I looked at that stream and cops said as long as I phoned them before I went down there just in case someone phoned they were ok with it then checked Auckland Council and told would have to come up with a plan, safety plan and submit it and they would look into it. Since it's not Doc land the shoot on sight rule may not apply here as I think they were released to help keep the weeds down(stupid idea) just be careful not the safest area to be with a bow.behind the school and up towards Pakistan and save would be productive

Hey mate, yea valid points! The grass carp were introduced eh into the lake upstream I found out about that too when I was emailing around. I'd contacted the Auckland Council, MPI ans the guy who released the grass carp haha. Also with the nz bow hunting subscription it includes a permit to bow hunt carp (on DOC land i know but yea) to my knowledge what i did was legit 🤞😐 but definitely do ya own research /precautions (as ya have done!)

Nice video. Can I please ask which camera you are using?

Hey mate thanks so much!! Yep the filming on my head was a gopro hero8 at 2.7k 30fps. I then had a "rifle/rod mount" and gopro hero7 silver on my bow at 2.7k 60fps you need higher frame rate to film slow motion shots. But if you watch the last video riiight at the end that's my new hero10 with 4k60 and you can see the quality is even better! Thanks again for watching feel free to sub if you're feeling Generous 😅🙏❤️

Dont blame your arrows

🤣🤣🤣 this arrow was blunt as and is designed very differently to the innerlocks. I'm no pro by any means. But the arrow definitely makes a difference. I should have sharpened the tip too I'd bluntened it from a previous miss
