There’s so much to do in Svalbard even in such a small place - van tours and boat tours, snowmobile expeditions, the mine historical tour, Solfestuka early in the year and the first polar night later in the year, and of course with any new place: trying all the food!! Because you have to fly in through Tromsø or Oslo, it’s also worth planning some activities in those places, too! Thanks for watching! 💙

That’s so true! We really want to experience the local customs, traditions, and culture, not just find a way to continue to do our own thing in each place. We should be adapting to where we go, not the other way around. It all starts with learning about the place first, and Jessica is one heck of a researcher so we know that we’re doing a place right! 💙

Their customer service is truly something! Collecting the mugs is also so much more practical because we can use them every day for our coffees! Definitely not up to 100 just yet, but on the way! 💙

It’s fascinating to see how these structures hold up overall! There are some ancient buildings all over the world (pyramids in Egypt, ruins in Machu Picchu, and so on) and what we might consider to be more basic building techniques have shown to last for thousands of years at a time! 🤯 💙
