Amazing! My friend and I are doing this hike in July. It will be my first backpacking trip ever! I just read your trail review and was relieved to see the comment you made about a small car being able to make it to the trail head! Thank you for posting this video. If you’ve never been go, I lived in Switzerland and I can tell you the last 10 miles of the drive to the upper parking lot is as beautiful as any drive in Switzerland, the best part is from the Mt Baker ski area up

Is your vehicle 4X4? also in what month did you do the hike?

My vehicle is 4x4 but you don't need 4x4 once the road is cleared. It's paved all the way up to Artist Point! I hiked in July :)

Hi Harish! It's a beautiful hike. All you need is a Northwest Forest Pass for parking. This trail does not need any backpacking permits.

Sorry for the late response! I got to the mountain around 7:30. The sun doesn't normally set until 9:30-10pm in mid-summer in the PNW!
