Hi Brian, Thank you so much for your excellent videos, it was great to find your channel, which I've recommended to many friends. Sincerely appreciate your advice - for urban commuting use for rides between public transit (trains and subway) and home and other destinations, for a 20 in. wheel bike, would you recommend the Zizzo Forte or Liberte? My partner and I would be carrying our bikes up and down some subway stairs, which isn't a big deal for us. And what if any components would you change on the model you recommend? It looks like the Forte will provide a better ride but at the expense of a little more weight. Also, is there a Tern model you'd recommend?

I've already ordered a 500mm seatpost for my folder. 28.6. If that's not enough, I can order a 600mm. Wish they made more posts like yours.

These seem such good machines but so out of reach to me, in my old age. My cheapy folder should be here in about a week or 10--11 days. I'll learn from it and see if I enjoy this style of bike, thinking I will. I only know of one fella that bought the same machine as I have, here on KZbin, and with some instant upgrades, he likes it very much. I hope I will too

First I was surprised seeing what happened to the frame of your bike and now I'm much more surprised how they (mis)managed the problem. Why just not saying: it's not covered but we're grateful for all you've done to our brand and sending the part at our cost???

I have the poor man’s Brompton, the Dahon Classic iii with a 2 speed kickshift rear hub with a coaster brake, it’s an old bike from the late 80’s but it’s probably one of the most bulletproof bikes i’ve used, if you’re just riding along and the frame just snaps going over a speedbump that’s definitely not something you want to be buying.

Brian--I say this with all sincerity and love--You need more Tacos in your life. Also, these kinds of rides are soothing for me as well. I need to get out more. Also, I have a bike just like the one in this video. Single brake up front, single speed. No worries. Love ya brother.

That was a wonderful bike you had there for a variety of rides. Would have been nice to have it now, in my way of thinking. Which is a bit selfish, I know.

The Brompton bike frame design is not the best for loaded touring. A long seat post of continuous wall thickness coupled with a heavy top weight is a recipe for disaster. The seat tube needs to have an internal tapered wall where the tube is thicker at or near where it comes out of the seat tube. There is a lot of stress where the seat post exits the seats tube. The small diameter tubing in the rear triangle would see a lot more stress specially at welded joints. It’s better to go bigger diameter at welded joints or use butted tubing to spread the stress loading over a larger area. Perhaps, Brompton never intended to design/build the bike for any kind of loaded touring or stump jumping.

Under engineered, over priced and an unacceptable customer service for a luxury good. Over priced no issue but engineering and crappy service is not.

Have you calculated your calories burned to the calories consumed. I suspect you're out of fuel. You do a lot of cycling.

Here in Brigham City we do get storms but not like Denver. The weather is usually, usually milder.

Saw a video yesterday on a Dahon MU SL 9. THINK it was from 2018. Super light, 19#'s, high tek stuff throughout. Really nice. I guess it was a limited edition.
