I still remember watching this game with my Dad years ago. We’re both huge Buckeyes fans from Ohio. I don’t think him and I ever got so loud before cheering Davis to the endzone. I’m sure the neighbors could hear us. Good times. Even better memories.

"Because there's no athletes on the field for Alabama, they got all fat guys" 5:26 um.... damn, he said it

God I love seeing the shock on the Tide fans.......it just doesn't get any better! I love the announcer later: Alabama had no athletes on the field just a bunch of fat guys.

The only result of that kick that was less likely than this disaster . . . was a good result.

I appreciate how the commentators don't talk much and just let the crowd just go near the end

Why would that guy say that Alabama didn't have any athletes" on the field, just "fat guys? " I'm pretty sure those "fat guys" are athletes my guy.

Great moment in college football history. Absolutely love seeing Alabama (with their numerous 5 star recruits) get beat.

"Uncle" Verne Lundquist was at the mic for arguably the most famous play in college basketball history (the Laettner shot against Kentucky in 1992) and college football history (this play).

Only video out of many i watched that actually shows the score and actual suspense. Anyone who has no idea about this game needs to know this to get the same feeling a fan would.

3:25. Right side of screen. I just noticed #79 in white goes after #98 in blue before Davis gets in. Went straight for him and it had no bearing on the play lol

Check 79 for Alabama beeline from the middle of the field with the target hit on 98 for Auburn after it was 100% clear Davis was going to score.

Did you notice that Davis #11 was not supposed to return that field goal attempt? Davis was on the right side of the line of scrimmage. The one in the goal zone was #34. Auburn asked the time out and #11 was sent back for the return. Great coaching by Auburn.

Only block in the back was the cheap shot by the fat ass Alabama Lineman #79 on number #98. If you see a block by an Auburn player into anyone's back, you are looking through blinded Bama eyes.
