The Promised land is located wherever God, by way of the Holy Spirit, tells you to go. It could be a job, a home, a location, a group of people, a church, your mind, the list is infinite. Better believe that if God wants to put you somewhere, He will, and will move whatever and whoever is in the way out of the way. It doesn't have to be a bad situation for the inhabitants if they're living right. They may have to move on to their next blessing if they're living right. Sometimes our promised land puts pressure on them to move which moves them into their next promised land. Yet, our true promised land is in our heart, spirit, peace and inner dwelling with the Lord God and Jesus Christ. You have to live it to know!

these scripture is nice because it shows the confrontation is necessary, God told Moses to get rid of those inhabitants, in modern day society the world would see Moses as the aggressor, but what God says to do is all that matters no matter how others feel about it.
