I would think car insurance would be a worse expense than fuel. But then again, it is the Biden economy.

There's gotta be a way to install a manual switch to turn the traction control off. Bypass the circuit, and turn it off. I've got a 4 cylinder BMW and it has a button to turn off the traction control. I mean c'mon, that should be illegal in the U.S. lol At least in a Mustang anyway.

Dude that's lazy talk , I have one and I love it , so what it's real work to drive , it's a Shelby , it's not a every day car ,you bring it out on a beautiful weekend drive and open it up on a back road , get back home park under the shade tree with your favorite beer and e content about your muscle 💪 machine , if you want to be Lazy luxury car , don't do the muscle thing !!!!

That is definitely not a pace car replica, at least not one that Chevy sold. They never made on that was a hard top, or one with an all white interior. Cool car none the less, but not a pace car.

Nice car but a dog in stock form.... could be a really fast car with a few mods. Lose the smog pump and the factory exhaust for some nice long tube headers and an intake that breathes better and you have a pretty decent performer. Or just swap in a pre 72 high compression big or small block and it will perform better than the smog choked factory setup from 74

Enjoy your ride man. who cares if it makes less HP than some v6s it still sounds good right and it's got the red interior and weak panoramic glass downgrade from traditional hard top muscle cars. anyway have fun with that showcar.

I just bought a black one about 3 weeks ago. It's my second GT. I had a 2007 a few years ago. These are my favorite cars. Total package. Power. Speed. Style. And best of all that 4.6 is one of the most reliable motors ever built...

If you're spending $50K on a "track car for the street" and complaining about the gas mileage, then I guess you're not buying the car for the right reasons. I love my GT500. I have almost 51K miles on mine and have other stuff to drive but really love this car. I lowered mine and 2" and it rides even worse now than stock, but that's a sacrifice I made for the improvement in handling. If you can afford $50K for a car like this and complain about it not being a daily driver, then you can afford to buy a second car to keep this in the garage and drive it occasionally so you can still say you own one.

Dude, just spend the little extra and get a 2011 Coyote. You don't want them 3 valve problems, especially if you're trying to add power and want to see actual note able gains.
@DamianBlaze

Auto Young What problems does the 3 valve have?
@AutoYoung
@AutoYoung 9 жыл бұрын
***** They just can't hold a lot of power before having to tear into the engine and they run out of breathe really quickly. It's a good car if you just want to take the time to actually "build" one. I've seen some built 3-Valves do damage. But the engineering that went into the Coyotes is just unmatched. 400+ horsepower N/A and they've been known to take almost 900hp. It's just a better platform and you can get a clean used 2011-12 GT for cheap these days.

Auto Young Now that you mention it, I don't see too many people doing much to the 3-Valves. Now I see why. And I agree, the Coyotes are great. It's becoming a great bang for your buck deal.
