@burnoutradio This is very true. It sure does help less experienced drivers. and is more consistent.

A little wheelspin is good to get the revs up and keep the engine from bogging. It also takes stress off the driveline

I counted roughly 5 secs from clutch pedal pop to 60, shouldn't that have been closer to 4 secs or did you not notice the speedo in time to relay that info accurately? What IS the accurate 0-60 time on this car using Launch Control? Thanks!

@somaholiday100 Well 1st off where'd u get ur time from? basing from the drop to when he said 60? I got 5 flat :56 to 1:01 & that's not a very spot on way to argue what ur trying to claim either. A persons reaction time from seeing something to saying what they r seeing is several tenths its self. 2ndly there's a 250lb passenger. Last but not least who knows what back road condition they took off on.

That's a lot of wheelspin for "launch control." Those GM computers must be slow.

@somaholiday100 the GS vettes run some quick runs from 0-60, no I’m not sure why u think it's slow. But like I said there are a lot of factors to why THIS 0-60 may be slow. I also don't care for the new what GM would like to call "LC" on the 2010 vettes. IMO it is GMs way of trying not to show up late to the party, they're trying to get a piece of the profit cars like the GTRs did with their "LC" But I think it's a rushed item.

Launch control actually is not the fastest way to launch a C6. Trust me. Bog it slightly off the line and you can cut 1.8 60ft times all day long. With 60mph popping up in around 4 flat. Trust me on this I can launch my bolt on 2001 Mustang GT to 60 in 4.5 seconds.
