Hey quick question, does the 264 normally come after 291? Like for saturdays . How long after?

I use a radio trackside and cross reference what I hear to symbol spreadsheets on Railroadfan.net. They're generally a reliable source for that kind of info.

Why s the Bay Line there? New interchange for them?
@RailWatchers16 күн бұрын
The Bay Line Railroad was taken over by Genesee & Wyoming, the same company that owns the Berkshire & Eastern. Upon the G&W take over of operations from Pan Am, excess power G&W had from other railroads they own was sent here to Massachusetts to aid in the start up the B&E as they were short on locomotives. Along with the Bay Line engines, B&E received engines from the Eastern Alabama Railway, Ottawa Valley Railway, Quebec & Gatineau Railway, and Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern Railroad. It is pretty common to see locomotives shared by G&W owned shortlines.

That 764 hi top engine at the end was lent to Strasburg RR when their switcher went down about 8 years ago. Does anyone know if it still is operable?
@RailWatchers17 күн бұрын
I personally do not know, but am curious myself. I will say though a lot of stuff parked along the Whippany Branch is out of service.

Thank you. The lines Amtrak uses are suitable for greater speeds, I believe they get up to 79 mph on the Conn River Line.
