Nice, I'll give this a go. The weird thing is the latest model talks about horizontal and vertical AMS and I don't know what they mean. I'm presuming next to the printer versus on top of it.

I'm not sure if it's the same stuff but my understanding was that when the silica gel turns green, you can put it in the microwave for 10 (or so) minutes on defrost and it will dry out and return to its orange colour !! Just keep the heat between 100 °C and 200 °C and it shout be safe. You can Google restoring silica gel :)

yes it can be printed on a Mini. A lot more parts which need to be fitted together. (For A1 mini, 18h50m in 0.2mm LH, post processing required) is the file you need. It's about in the middle of the list of files.

I accidentally ordered transparent PC instead of PLA (Polymaker) - I didn't notice until after printing and had it set on PLA and it spit out unmelted strips like uncooked spaghetti. I decided to change the settings and try it anyway since I've heard the A1 is capable of PC (though there is no preset for Polymaker brand PC - just used generic). I turned the AC on high in the small room and closed the door to avoid drafts and the first cover seems to have worked fine. Slight lifting off the plate around the perimeter - I might use a little glue stick next time. So far, so good. I think I'll only use it on the outer pieces (even though they're the biggest ones) - so I can see the colors on the spools. PLA for everything else other than PETG clips and such.

I can't get it, how did you make your seat attached to the sim rig and which cables you needed to connect and how much apmerere ups needed? Did you buy any extra metal parts for the base ofnthe seat? Could you make a tutorial on this please?

You need to have a knowledge of vehicle electrics. Fitting the seat was easy after cutting away part of the rail so it sits flat then it just bolts in

You can delete desiccant box you don’t want and print it twice or clone it in the slicer.

Bruh you got a nice set up, I just got a t300 GT rs coz I wasn't getting any faster using the g920, Plus the t300 allow me to swop wheels, I want to know what it is like with a GT wheel, I am over the moon with the t300, I only SIM race in VR now, I can't do a TV screen again, AMS 2 is bad ass in VR, I only got a Quest 2 and a 12gb 3060, A WaveVR elite 5000mah battery strap allows me to sim race for hours with no uncomfortable feelings, AMS 2 is fantastic...

Well let's say this, I'm the biggest fanstec supporters even got the dd+ I'm sure corsair will allow fanatec to do very very well. But even I decided to go with the alpha ultimate just because why not be safe? So my dd+ will be my backup unit now. Kind of sad because it's such a good base but they are also having tons of qc issues. Even the good units have issues. Even my ball bearings make a bit of noise and some coil whine which tbh idc about coil whine all brands have it. I hate that fanatec does all rma like there policy is to rma everything no matter what the issue is it's why they are in one of the situations they are in. Instead of knowing what or what isn't an actual defect. But yeah just saying be careful if you want to buy then just enjoy it and ignore everything else going on. If not then get you an alpha mini or something lol. Not gonna lie the alpha ultimate is better then the dd+ when dialed in and the alpha mini would be better then the lower offers of fanatec.

The zoom breathing is caused from having the smoothing setting rather high in gyroflow. This is the smoothest footage I've seen from this camera so far lol
