Well let's say this, I'm the biggest fanstec supporters even got the dd+ I'm sure corsair will allow fanatec to do very very well. But even I decided to go with the alpha ultimate just because why not be safe? So my dd+ will be my backup unit now. Kind of sad because it's such a good base but they are also having tons of qc issues. Even the good units have issues. Even my ball bearings make a bit of noise and some coil whine which tbh idc about coil whine all brands have it. I hate that fanatec does all rma like there policy is to rma everything no matter what the issue is it's why they are in one of the situations they are in. Instead of knowing what or what isn't an actual defect. But yeah just saying be careful if you want to buy then just enjoy it and ignore everything else going on. If not then get you an alpha mini or something lol. Not gonna lie the alpha ultimate is better then the dd+ when dialed in and the alpha mini would be better then the lower offers of fanatec.
