One Up Adventures Great school, Aly was my Instructor for Tandem, the first to seat in my front of me, I said: you have elevate it balls, because i really was nervous to fly with someone else, she said: if you feel like that, I'm so happy because will be safe. Learning your wing is mucho love and baby step, because the paramotor wing is sexy, is girl, you need to understand her, sometimes could be hard, but the majority of the moment the interaction need to be nice and soft. Vamos a Volar you guys can do it, is great therapy.

Cool short demo, thanks 👍 I'm interested in how loud this 1,00m triblade Atom 80 is compared to an Atom 80 with two blade 1,25cm setup ... and in comparison with a MiniMot... What do you estimate? Just thinking of "noise acceptance" in our area (the "quacky" minimot - sound would not have a big fan community here I assume😂).

Really helpful videos, thanks. I seeyou use a davinci duet for the trike lessons. Can you recommend this wing or is the BGD cyclone better for beginner trike pilots? 👌
@oneupadventures504012 күн бұрын
Good morning, it really depends on what you are looking for in flying as well as your weight and what gear you are on. We have found that BGD Cyclone has a tendency to NOT overshoot and it locks itself into place and it just does a great job! The duet did a great job but does have a tendency to overshoot and it requires a check.

Yes it is normal to hear some small noises when turning the prop. Be sure to change your gearbox oil every 10 hours or so to keep it fresh :)

Very likely the line you just replaced is too long. You need to trim your glider after line replacement.

Nice vid, thank you... Would you say that it had enough thrust for me weighing 80 kg/ 177 lbs naked on a mid B mountain wing? Alternatively, is there an option to fit a Moster 185 on it?
@oneupadventures5040Ай бұрын
Hey Chris, yes it makes more than enough thrust for your weight of 177 lbs on a mid B wing that you are in in the weight range on. I weigh the same, and it flys me quite well. Yes, there is an option to put a Moster 185 on it, and also it is now possible to convert it to the standard or XL size cage for up to 140CM propeller

18:22 - For everyone watching, please be mindfull about the pipe being underneath the reserve bridles. A reserve deployment would probably rip the system out of the way but it's best to avoid any chances of it needing to in an emergency situation. Nice simple design overall 👍

This is great information. In skydiving when you travel to a new drop zone we get a Dropzone briefing from a local instructor. It's similar information, all the potential hazards, local weather, and typical patterns. Sitting back and watching for a bit is loads of advice.

Amazing! This is incredibly detailed. I'm tempted to try this, but I'm on a long streak; I'm going on year 8, and I still haven't broken a prop. For me there's a lot more risk of something coming loose and shredding a prop than the flammability (it's a word!).

Love this. I've been missing having a smoke system but always thought about making something removable. Thanks for all of the info Kyle. 🥹

@ On the Factory R, did you drill out the bung or punch a hole through the normal wall?
@Kyle.MooneyАй бұрын
@ The bung was too thick. I tried that first and then just went with a rivet nut. I’ll just buy a new elbow 🤣
@davidyoung518Ай бұрын
I remember there were problems of cracking the exhaust from drilling it back in the day. What has changed so that isn't a concern anymore?
@Kyle.MooneyАй бұрын
@ it’s still a concern for sure. Just part of the game when doing this. I would never rule it out with smoke.

Good video Kyle. Could you make an updated video with the latest Rider X? There have been some changes in 4 years. I noticed that after installing my reserve on the right side, it's hard to get my hand under there for getting into the seat. I have to use both hands, unfortunately. I flew last Sunday and had to cram my hand in there after takeoff. I was worried I might accidentally deploy my reserve. I watched your "How to Mount a Reserve" video. Thanks for that video too. I'm a newly trained PPG pilot and have a lot to learn. I'm hoping to make some adjustments to my harness so that I will be able to get into the seat easily (with no hands would be nice) after takeoff.

Interesting! Does the weight qualify it as an FAR103 ultralight?
@oneupadventures50402 ай бұрын
@@cbdane , I’m not really sure… if the boat itself is considered “flotation safety equipment” then maybe you could subtract that weight and qualify. Haha. There are certainly some questions that would need to be definitively answered to be able to legally fly this is the USA. However many other countries with higher weight limits, this does in fact qualify as ultralight!

Where’s the Luna lite?
@oneupadventures5040Ай бұрын
We don't have a Luna trike in our US stock as it is not part 103 legal. There are strenuous ways to go about getting one but with it being over weight and a massive fuel capacity it just doesn't come close to a paramotor legal standards sadly.
