The trouble here in South Wales is that pubs initially offer TT Landlord but then remove it as they don't know how to look after it in the cellar. I would have thought that someone from TT would visit such pubs when initially asking for Landlord.

Thanks for the comment. Our support beyond the brewery is second-to-none. Each of our BDMs (Business Development Managers) around the country is Cask Marque accredited and we offer free cellar training to any pub who stocks our beers to try and guarantee quality. We will also routinely drop in on pubs on an ongoing basis for quality checks to make sure standards are being kept. Unfortunately as you can imagine there are a few instances where customers receive a less-than-perfect pint and if this is the case, upon receiving negative feedback we will plan a visit ourselves to see what issues the pub might be having and offer support where we can. This will of course be kept totally anonymous. If you've experienced a bad pint recently, please email us at [email protected] with information about what was wrong with it and the name and address of the pub, and we'll confidentially investigate on your behalf and support where needed.

Thank you for sharing, what a beautyfull process you have. The top crop harvesting door is very cleaver. You never start again with your fresh strain from the lab ? Is the yeast still evolving, final gravity esthers ... I should book a tour !

I recall in 2006 Madonna was interviewed by Jonathon Ross on his show. She mentioned she liked a pint of Landlord at her local in Putney, London. I believe the response nationwide was unbelievable and Timothy Taylors have never looked back and rightly so

I'm wondering how a homebrewer would go about replicating a Timothy Taylor's Dark Mild. I'm trying to recreate this for my dad, but I'm not sure about malt bill and mash temperature. I was thinking 91% golden promise, 6% Crystal 80L, 3% Chocolate malt. Maybe some flaked barley or torrified wheat for head retention too. Then a really high mash temp for body. It's a hard style to get just right!

Yanks dont understand the art of subtle balance in beers. Its taken the British and Europeans centuries to get here. Give them a few more centuries to settle down as to whats to be really commended.

The yanks are children compared to their adults in Europe. We've been trying to perfect alcohol since our mead which is over a millennia. And in the 200 years they've been a real country they've managed to make bud light... I rest my case as that is a very popular beer amongst them.

Your beers are awesome! I’m American, my advice is stay away from American styles in any capacity! Cheers! I use to live in England in the 80s , at the time I drink Budweiser but in all fairness I was about 19 and had no idea what a real ale was , definitely not a Hand pumped cask conditioned English ale! England really should be the standard for all ale in my opinion!

I started drinking Timothy Taylor beers in 1974 at "The Dog and Gun" in Oxenhope, it's just a few miles outside Keighley. Times have changed over the years, but Timothy Taylor's Championship beers are as good today as they've always been. If you happen to visit Keighley, try "The Boltmaker's Arms" it's just up the road from Keighley train station, The Boltmaker's is a small traditional pub that serves a fine range of Taylor's beers which are always in tip top condition. Timothy Taylor pubs adhere to traditional ways and standards, there's no jukeboxes, karaoke or bingo in a Taylor's pub, just great beer, a friendly welcome and great times with your family and friends.

I literally only found Landlord a few weeks ago [shame on me] and along with a couple of Sharps brews, Landlord is my favourite, and they are 4 for £6.00 in Morrisons, absolute bargain...

I have tried almost every UK beer there is. I have concluded that Timothy Taylor Landlord is the best beer . I used to buy a mixture of beers when going to the supermarket now I only buy this.
