Awesom what would be really cool is have the ship jump periodically into star systems . Then circle a planet jump back out and continue . At the end last jump brings you into a star system and it docks with a space station. .in orbit of an earth like planet ending this amazing journey.

As much as I like these ambience things, there are always too many stars moving way too fast. E.g. if you were approaching α Centauri at 1 light year per hour, even at that speed the stars would seem to be moving about the same speed as the hour hand on a clock; i.e. imperceptibly. This, though, is moving at about one light year per second, which is ridiculously fast even for sci fi. Just saying. Maybe someday some sci fi artist will eventually get it right rather than just copying sci fi cgi. Anyway light wouldnt even be visibile moving at this speed. Just saying.
