You awaken in a dark room with very little light. Your eyes adjust and you find you are on a soft bed with a window showing the distant stars passing by as thought the room you are in is moving like a spaceship. It's surreal, but it seems normal for some reason. Sliding out of the bed, you find that there are a set of keys on the nightstand. You take them. Now, you leave the room into an empty and dark hallway, walking down and hearing your own footsteps echo down. There are many doors like the one you just exited, but you are not going into any of them. The door you are looking for his large and isolated. Ah, there it is. You unlock the door at the end of the hall and turn the knobs and clicking it in, opening and sliding it off to the side as you walk into the display room of Earth Artifacts. Oh, how the Civilization Museum hasn't changed. It's even better at night, when nothing but the dim lights from the displays are showing you the way around. It's a too peaceful, and you begin to wonder what life on Earth was really like.

@@cuevasxjr5 We’re on a chunk of rock hurtling through space in a big circle around the gravity well belonging to a modest, fairly well-behaved but uncontrolled thermonuclear inferno, while the rock we are on rotates and revolves with a small moon that is slipping away from us, little by little. We are part of a normal everyday solar system, nothing special except we were lucky enough to get the sweet spot in the solar system sweepstakes, not too close, not too far... and our solar system is a microscopic speck in an out-flung arm of a spiral galaxy that is itself rotating around a cluster of blackholes at the radiation-fried centre and our local galactic neighbourhood is spinning in an expanding wave, and all the streams and clusters and systems and stars are getting farther away, slowing down, coasting, which means eventually there will be little point to astronomy because nothing will be visible in the night skies. There may be no one to be looking out from our little briquet after the sun flares out and blast-furnaces all the way out to Mars.

As a conisoure of audio and sleep audio I will say this is one of the more gentle ambient noises..I've heard I like that it sounds like under water but filtered. The top end is often to much in these . You have a nice smooth round sound . It's nice. Calming and bassy...

Can you make a video of just the stars coming at us? Then add the sound that either Saturn makes or Pluto makes? There's a video that shows what all the planets sound like and you could use one of the planets sounds with just the stars. Some of the planets have really relaxing sounds and the cool part is that how they really sound. If you could do that, that would be amazing. Thanks for this video.

These are all kind of nice but not quite right for sleeping quarters ... bridge view makes sense going forward into the starfield ... but sleeping quarters I would prefer the starfield was receding ... as if it were at the stern of the ship looking out where it has been not where it is going ... are there any like that ... I can't seem to find one where the starfield goes away!!

Don’t want to be a party pooper, but space does not actually look like that. All those little dots, which I assume to be stars, are massive bodies of hydrogen, not just little specks that you pass by. Space if traveled through would rather look like complete blackness.

Yes, very true and I think about that almost every time I watch one of these types of videos. I enjoy this aesthetic of space nevertheless because it’s more interesting than looking at a static star field. Assuming it somehow was possible to be travelling like this, I’ve worried about getting a little too close to one of those stars, or crashing into some invisible planet or drifting space rock at such high speeds.
