Visible is a piece of crap. My wife was unable to change to the provider and went back to the previous cell provider. How can a company serve customers when they don't have a phone number to call?

Great video! I recently switched from a $20 month Tracfone 2Gigs data plan (with fees and taxes was $23) to Visible $25 plan. Verizon owns both Tracfone and Visible and wanted to keep current coverage and go to unlimited data. Its been great so far! I have used the mobile hotspot (which tracfone didnt have) and it works great for connecting up a laptop/desktop. Its limited to 480p quality for video streaming so not practical to replace a home internet service if you want to watch 1080p videos on a smart tv.

I hit 1.5k subscribers and 2500 watch hours last year, gave up and I’m starting again with fresh ideas, I’ve uploaded a single video so far and got 53 watch hours, hope it works this time around

I signed up, requested a sim (instead of esim) and got a new number so I could activate 2 weeks later and keep my old number active on an old device while the porting was happening. I now can't find the option to port in my number (on the phone app or the web) and I can't get to live customer service. It's all virtual. I may have to cancel service and choose a new carrier. UPDATE: Customer service is excellent. It's not easy to make it past the AI chat, but when you do, you get a real person. She requested all my porting info and started it. I goofed and closed the chat window and she called me. So if you need to speak to someone, after giving them a call back #, get into your issue and then disconnect. Her English was perfect and she was very nice. It took 4 hours and the # ported. Everything seemed to work except I wasn't getting inbound calls. Back to customer service chat and after finally getting past AI, I got another great customer service person. After he checked everything and re-provisioned the SIM, it appears the problem is Google Voice related and not service related. I had someone call me with no problem but I can't call the phone with my Google Voice #, but I can call other phone numbers. The customer service person said he looked up and found Google Voice was currently having issues. I don't know if that's true but since other people can call me, I'll have to go with that for now. UPDATED UPDATE: It took 24 hours for Google Voice and another service (my voicemail app) to be able to call my number but everything works now.

Thank you so much! I always try and out the personal touch when I message people and it definitely makes a difference. If you want to remain cold and distant stick with eBay or Etsy. The lowballing is annoying and if you comment too much they can rate you without even a sale so I try and answer questions right away. And I didn’t know about requesting feedback! That rocks and I can also reconnect with my clients.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking to change providers and don't want to use Metro or Boost so it looks like I'll probably be going w/Verizon or possibly Xfinity. It's so mind numbing to think how much things have changed and downgraded in quality, availability and service within not only the last 10-15 yrs but the last 4. Where we was once flushed with choices, we are slowly but surely losing that ability because companies are phasing out and all the great amenities like great customer service is quickly and quietly becoming a distant memory.

The bigger problem is no internet two or three during the day . Internet too slow plus customer service sucks

I transferred from T Mobile I downloaded the app Followed the instructions in the App Ported my number from T Mobile I set my Visible account up Threw the App 1 Day ahead When I received the physical SIM card Literally start to Finish setting up 2 IPhone 12 Pro Max Was about 20 minutes & I WAS UP & Going My wife literally had phone calls coming in within the first 5 minutes of service And she was chatting like nothing even happened lol

The reason I never give a thoughtful response to "Is this still available?" is that I assume it's a scammer. I have no idea why a real buyer would lead with that when replying to an open listing.

I was trying to sign up for their free trial, hoping to have a good experience because on paper, $25 for unlimited everything sounds like an amazing deal. I ended up spending 2 DAYS on and off the chat with customer service because I COULDN’T EVEN CREATE AN ACCOUNT!!! Every time I tried, I got 1 error or another. It was to the point of ridiculousness! I am a potential new customer, yet they didn’t seem too concerned with helping me. They would promise to elevate my case to their “advanced triage team” as a priority status and said they would reach out with a resolution within the hour. They told me that a couple times, I never heard back from them at all. I had to continually initiate a chat with them to get any headway. It’s a miracle after 2 days, I was finally able to create an account. If I have the same problem as you with them not accepting my form of payment, I am going to lose my mind. I’ve been through the same frustrating crap as you! Fingers crossed!

Anyone know if the "quantity" option is gone on marketplace? If I have 100 of the same item to sell, do I now have to list it 100 times 1 by 1? Also this royally screws up my ad spend. For a single ad if I had a quantity of 100 for one listing, I could throw hundreds of dollars at one single ad... now.. just $1-2 per ad at a time and no sales that way. Am I wrong or did they royally screw this all up for sellers?

Hey Riley, great tips! I really appreciate the perspective for casual sellers. One question/thought around profile pictures, how do you make sure you’re not solicited for your profile? I’m always weary of using my actual photo for public accounts especially something like FBMP.

Yeah, the top things that irritate me are people who talk as if they're going to buy somethimg from you and back out at the last moment. You end up wasting a lot of time just responding to and waiting for people who aren't even actually going to buy it.
