That is a great idea to get past the throttle! I personally haven’t noticed the video quality cap, but I do know it exists. Switching from spectrum mobile visible 25 dollar plan is a solid choice then if you want the 45 they pre rate you for the what you’ve used already.

hi there, good review am thinking to move to visible plus plan on september 2024, once my phone gets unlocke d but i have to ask, whats going to happen to data speeds after i used the 50 g premium data, am i still going to br able to stream videos at least 720 p with no buffering? also can i use you referral code to save some money once i move to visible? thanks friend

I personally have the standard Visible plan, so honestly I’m not entirely sure what will happen after you reach the 50 gb. I have had no problem streaming anything on the regular plan, so I think you should be perfectly fine with the data on Visible+. You can also absolutely use the referral code! How’s the roaming? Is there roaming included in your plan? Also, while on visible do you have the roaming toggle turned on or off?

I personally have never had an issue with using the service in terms of coverage. I’ll be taking a trip soon out of state, so I’m hoping the roaming will work well. But so far, no issues! On an iPhone, which I have, if you go to your cellular settings in the settings app there is a roaming on and off toggle. Mine is on. I got visible price locked for 2 years with unlimited everything and 50gb of premium data (not deprioritized ) for 35 a Month. Why was I spending 80+ a month on mobile for the last 10 years. I feel so scammed.

What plan did you have with Cellcom? (My current carrier) I notice that it's really slow on Cellcom's network but when it switches to Verizon I get great speeds.

I’m not sure exactly what the name of the plan was, but it was only a 2 gb plan and it costed about $50 a month! Which looking back is pretty crazy overpriced, especially in comparison to visible. That’s definitely a very valid concern! I live in a pretty small town so I don’t have to worry about those things, although even when I’ve traveled to bigger cities with visible I haven’t had much of an issue. If you’re concerned, I know that visible does offer free trials as well, so maybe you can check out that route. Honestly, I have never experienced a throttle or limit on any data usage, so while that may exist, from my perspective, I have had unlimited😃 That being said, I am always on WiFi a lot so I may not have experienced the threshold. US Mobile has better customer service and more options. Your $25 plan don't have uw band for $4 more on US Mobile has uw band for $29

I will fully agree with you that more options are generally better, but there is something to be said about simplicity also because most people aren’t very well informed about cell phone coverage and all the terms and conditions. I don’t know much about US Mobile and I’m sure it’s also a great service, but I’ve also never run into an issue without having UW band thus far, so I’m willing to bet for most people they would not be able to tell the difference. Something Visible is absolutely terrible with is their customer service, so I’m definitely willing to bet that US Mobile has a better experience there. As long as you found an appropriate service for you, that’s all that matters! I love that there are so many options to pick, with pros and cons to all of them. US Mobile is awesome for their 29$ starter plan. But for an extra 16$ you can get Visible+ and it’s completely unlimited on 5GUW for 45$ with unlimited hotspot at 10mbps. I miss US mobile but Visible+ is hard to beat 🤷‍♂️

Well, I can assure you that if you are using the Visible app that it is not a scam, I use it every day as my main cell phone service and I have generally had good luck with it. Sometimes I agree that the app does not always work the absolute best, but it’s definitely no scam. Customer service is probably the worse part about Visible, it’s actually pretty terrible. Luckily when I signed up, I didn’t need to use the Customer Service too much because it does not work great. In the future, I planned to make a video where I talked about a few small issues I’ve had with visible, so I hope you’ll consider subscribing so you can see that when it comes out. I’m not entirely sure where you would go to adjust your caller ID, except your profile like you had mentioned! Sorry I’m not able to help much, I’ve never looked in to caller ID’s before.
