Well, after sitting through this, I'm certainly encouraged to buy a DB9...... My first car was a 1956 Chevy with 3 on a tree and a Stovebolt 6. Occasionally I'd have to get out of the car, reach under the hood and jiggle the shifter cables because it would get stuck in neutral. Never thought I'd see another car like that :)

I have a V12 Vantage and although I have removed both nuts and washers the lights will not come out The outside is loose but the inside done not move, though there is another bolt or clip Any ideas ?

Can the headlights and taillights be sealed (silicone?) pre-emptively to avoid the condensation issue?

Just came back from Canada and drove to Rotterdam to get my second db9. This one is called kick in the butt. It will serve as a donner car for my submarine car I started stripping last month. This heavily damaged to the rear end car will donate all of it's interior parts as well as the electronics and wire loom. So I would love to get it starting before anything but I am stumbling on the PATS when I try to start the car. The engine turns over but does not start. First, is this a PATS situation? Or would it not even turn over? I do get the red light indicating PATS as well as a written message. Since the battery was dead on arrival, could this have triggered the PATS? Is there a procedure to make this go away? Francis

Can you convert UK to Eu lights without replacing the headlamp? Can you adjust them or replace the internal deflector.

Top tip with undertray holes like that: Vaccum as much oil as you can out of the dipstick! -or- Get a pipe that fits inside the hole but over the plug. Loosen the plug to just a few turns off. Use one hand to push the pipe up against the bottom of the sump. Use your other hand on a socket with an extension and slide that inside the pipe. Withdraw the socket from the pipe, keeping the pipe pushed up all the time and oil will go down the pipe.

I much prefer the 6 speed ZF automatic in my DB9! Its reliable, shifts smoothly and not really that slow using the paddles. Its a Grand tourer not a sports car & i love it!❤😊

Bought a 2012 coupe with a 6spd 3 years ago. It's our weekend driver. Fantastic reliability too. Added a few performance mods (fabspeed x-pipe, bc coilovers, AMR tune) and it's an absolute blast. Yes, my old 997 felt more technically advanced and quicker, but it lacked the soul and the visceral driving experience this car provides. Isn't that what we want out of a sports car? It brings a smile to my face every time I take her out, and a bigger smile when my wife drives it.

If i replace the main & dipped bulbs for LED types ...the ones with a little cooling fan on the back of the bulbs - do you think those fans will help circulate the air and help prevent condensation?

This keyfob DOES NOT WORK for the Volvo V50/S40 etc replacement. My DB9 came with no keys so I bought a Volvo V50 one and programmed it. Tried swapping the board into this spin state key and it had to be dremeled just to get it to kind of work. Also this is a $100 key fob so I thought it'd feel nicer than a $12 ebay Chinese key.

Bought my 2012 from a Ferrari dealership in Boston about a month ago. Drove it home to Tennessee. During that drive the sensor for the passengers seat, and the ability to move that seat failed. They offered to fix it, was a simple fix, only a $100. Today the gas gauge only went to a half tank when I filled it, am I sorry I bought it after months and months of searching? Not for 1 second. (It has only 10k miles on it)
