While it doesn't beat anything storebought, information is precious, and with just how much soap came out like what, 8 bars? For a few days work? That's fantastic if you ask me!

To check the strength of the lye, you put a chicken feather in it and if it dissolves the feather you are good

Hi Lisa! I have a question for you. I recently made a salt bar recipe and doubled it. I didn't realize till after The bars had hardened up that I had left out or forgotten to double the lye as well. Would I be able to shred the salt bars up and use them in a recipe like this? Would I need more lye in my recipe too make up for the lye that I did not put in the first time in order to saponify the oils in the shredded salt bar? Does this make sense?

Wow, those colours are pretty. I love Galaxy of Stars it's a beautiful fragrance. It's such a shame it's no longer available; I have a soap assessed with that fragrance and I have just enough to make another loaf...I'll miss it when it's gone. I wonder if there is a way to find out who manufactured it as it may still be available under a different name elsewhere?

Lisa! I really liked the one you didn't like at all! It's like an abstract painting, and I really do like it. You always seem to be able to pull it off, no matter what. When you chose your colors and began pouring, I was saying (out loud because I live alone), "Why would she use that gray color with those beautiful neons?" But the soap turned out to be beautiful - as always. I learn something from every one of your videos. Thank you!

We missed you, but I think most of us expect you to have other commitments to handle too. I’m glad to know my Friday night Eduentertainment channel is still functional - and you’re ok. Glad your ok, glad you uploaded! I think I’d like to echo other voices who like the unique look of each bar - and that you can be too harsh on yourself… I’d imagine every bar would sell quite promptly… the fineness of the layering is pretty, unusual, and yes, very much like those wood texture soaps of yesteryear. Have a merry Christmas - this episode was a great gift… thank you.

Hi, Lisa! I think this batch of bars turned out wonderfully. I like the one with the big spot in it the most, to me it just looks interstellar. Hope you have a wonderful solstice and a merry holiday season! 🌌🧼❤

Dear LIsa, you are so hard on yourself, I find the soap is beautiful and a very decent entry to the soap challenge club. Good luck with it! This is a far too advanced technique for me, I love to watch you using it. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and a blessed New Year! I look forward to your next videos🙏❤

Hello Lisa, have you any thoughts on which oils are slow trace? have entered this months challenge and 1st used Amy's recipe,however it went clumpy on me and Amy said not to use floral fragrances,good tip.the next time i did it it started of really well then went hard pretty quickly and didn't even add a fragrance, so i am going to use my old recipe and wondered about oils,do you prefer olive?palm?rice bran or sunflower? also thought titanium speeded up trace so would like to use it but i can do without althoough yours doesn't speed up trace,will add spearmint fragrance on the last pour i think.I welcome your valuable comments and i guess your in the middle of doing the challenge although i don't know how you can beat your previous kiss'n'pour win. Regards Andrea

I love this one! We live on the coast a few blocks from a bay and have watched many sunrises over our bay and full moons too I may have to try this one without the mountain but with a palm silhouette in front. Not sure how I'd make a palm tree though.

I would also really love to purchase this extruder disk if you ever offer it ❤
@IDreamInSoap6 күн бұрын
I do offer in but not actually in the shop. I don't want people to just buy it without realising that it's tricky to use, so needs some experience and good quality soap dough. I have been saying to people that if they place an order and in the notes write that they would like the deer disc and the know it may be tricky to use I'm quite happy to supply it.
