that is a lot of stuff for under 100 bucks is that just the price of the compressor or does it include the air hoses, and such Do you use that for just airing tires up and down or for air suspension also?

Why do you not use a vise to hold what you are working on? Also warming the wheel helps remove seals without wrecking them
@natsterlive16 күн бұрын
Learn from the bobcat mt85. Grease fittings so you can push debris out from the inside. Thrust washers so you don't push the seals out. Grease fittings are the most important. You didn't install that grease fitting in the right place in the other video
@cp-islander16 күн бұрын
The grease nipple didn't work for me. Due to the size of the wheel it was the only place to install it. Also, there's no room to get the grease gun in on the inside. Also, the first rock I picked up sheared off the nipple. The root cause of the failures is dirt getting into the bearings. After all my messing around trying different things seal ball bearings are holding up the best! I've ordered some new ZZ ball bearings which I think will be even better! No maintenance is what I'm trying to achieve.....will put a new video out in the new year once all the parts come in. Thanks for the comments!
@natsterlive16 күн бұрын
@@cp-islander Watch the video I just posted. You intalled the grease fitting wrong. Also the china flush style grease fittings don't shear off. Look up pics of the bobcat mt85 track system. Lots to learn there. If you have a welder, that rear roller should be changed out from the A1 style roller to a A2 style roller. Bobcat MT 85 rollers can be used and they all come with grease fittings and proper seals.
@@natsterlive Thanks I just watched your videos and I get what you're talking about. The wheel you have is quite a bit larger which would make it easier to grease for sure, but I don't think they would fit on my machine? At this point if I can get 60hrs or more out of sealed ball bearing then to me will be easier to just swap them out for new ones at they are cheap to buy. Good job on how you installed your grease nipples!

Glad your finding my videos helpful! I did provide part numbers in an earlier video. Here’s the part number for the seals. Paid $21 on Amazon for two. Search Amazon for TC 25mm x 52mm x 8mm and you should find them. Ball bearings I used are 6205-2RS.
@natsterlive19 күн бұрын
You installed the grease fitting into the wrong area of the steel wheel. The hole needs to be at a angle to come out between the two races in the center of the wheel. That way grease is always pushing new through the bearing and out the seal side. I just grease daily and don't install the seals. They are pointless.
@cp-islander19 күн бұрын
Even if your able to get grease into the bearing the dirt just kills them! I just did a vid on sealed ball bearings and they are holding up for approximately 30 hrs with no issues! All other bearings only lasted for 25 hrs max! Sounds like you found a good solution for you but I’m just looking for a maintenance free type solution.

I have ordered the 2024 Typhon Stomp Mini skid steer out of California and should have it any day now. Do you think these bearings are used basically for most China Skid steers? I spose the same company makes several different models and should use the same bearings to save money. What do you think> Thanks.
@cp-islanderАй бұрын
From what I’ve seen these wheels are common on mini skid steers! Once you get your machine check all the bolts and fluid levels. Remove the idler wheels and grease the bearings they seam to put very little grease on them. Watch my other videos and I’m currently trying sealed ball bearings to keep the dirt out. Only have a few hours on them, once I get around 20 hr on them I’ll remove them to see how they’re holding up.

If the shaft is drilled all the way through from bolt hole to bolt hole, a hole could be drilled into the bearing divider to the centre of the shaft that would allow greased to flow from the external bolt hole and fill the space between the 2 bearings, pushing new grease in both directions through each bearing. A seperate bolt could be drilled out and a grease fitting installed. It would take a bit of work but you would only have to remove the outer retaining bolt and replace it with the grease fitting bolt to grease each roller and reinstall the retaining bolt. As yeyis05 says hopefully someone will resolve this issue once and for all, so it just makes it a simple maintenance task of greasing everything,
