I did those in what my gymnastics calls silkworm (which is for the kids under ten), and I'm still doing the intermediate because of how fun they are*

Do you have any suggestions how to stop jumping to get into a basic pullover? (Pullover to knot entry). I’m struggling to stop jumping and have to tag my foot.
@ericacircusaerial3896

Try doing it from the ground on one knee. Focus on rolling backwards like a ball then landing on your hip bones. Also use wrist locks to practice inverting and then tucking and rolling back like a ball, then roll back up with control and land with light feet. Let me know if this makes sense. If you need more help, send me a video of your attempt and I can try to give some pointers!

Hello I need help with my grip with a invert and hook I can’t hold on with one hand and I can’t get into any drops even a slack drop I still can’t help
@ericacircusaerial3896
@ericacircusaerial3896 Жыл бұрын
When you invert and hook, make sure your top hand is the leg you plan to hook. Make sure your leg hooks well above your hand, not on your hand. You should practice this with a knot and low to the ground until you are confident! If you need more help, show me a video of your inversion so I can see what’s going wrong.

Do you have any tips for holding on while s wrapping last time I let go with one hand slowly and my hand lost grip and got jammed in between my leg and the silks and it was a hot day so my black silks were burning and I got really bad silk burn hewlp
@ericacircusaerial3896
@ericacircusaerial3896 Жыл бұрын
I feel you! Silk burns are the worst. Gripping for the wheel down can be a little tricky because you have to let the silks slide through your hands while still maintaining control. This is a skill that I am still working on, too! Here’s a great video that should help explain. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqDTlHiha9eZhtE
