When he fight Hippolytha who was the queen of the amazons its clear that the king did say to Hercules that she wouldn't give her belt to anyone without a fight has we know in that time in the amazon kingdom if a female was born she was raised to be a amazon soldiers but if it was male they have to get rid of it.

When I was younger, before my grandmother died, she had this little mini computer that you could flip open and put the DVD in and play it. Well, she also had a pouch full of these DVD just like this vid. In fact, this movie was in it. There was Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc. This brings back so many memories.
