In his early days, it seemed he was simply believing what the Bible says, but as time went on, and the more sermons he preached, he started to show more compromise, giving way to doctrines of men. I know he was quite involved with the Southern Baptists, and it seems he was listening to more of what his elders were teaching him. I don't know how much of it was that, and how much was influence through relationships with political figures. I used him as an example for this clip because it is now so uncommon to hear someone to preach a message like to such a large, even televised, audience. As many know, toward the end of his life, he even said that Jesus was not the only way, and that Muslims and even unbelievers are part of the body of Christ whether they know it or not, and if they cling to the only light that have, whatever it is, they are saved. Essentially he said there are many ways to the Father. Jesus said ye will know a tree by its fruit. That is rotten fruit.

Yes, unfortunately most were very prideful. It is always our hope that the beautiful word of God spoken to them will act as even a little tiny breeze on their sail, nudging them in the direction of the Truth, Jesus. The one young lady was very worked up in her emotion after being offended through having her Islamic faith challenged, but showed some softness, even if worldly sorrow, toward the end. Hopefully she will examine what she believes deeper. While the Muslim man was polite, it was clear, that at least at that time, he was clinging to Islam, but the Lord is the worker of miracles and His Word will not return void. Hopefully this meeting was a nudge for him as well. There are several ex-Muslims that I know of, that have the testimony of having heard the preaching of the Biblical gospel and having questioned their beliefs in honesty, seeing the truth and making the bold choice to depart from their idolatry. Hopefully these people come to see what they believe is false.
