Apologetics Canada: Try this Genesis interpretation: Genesis 1:1 the Elohim family created the heaven and the earth, and filled it with life. The war in heaven took place; fallen angels hijacked earth and ruled as gods (Enki, Enlil, Shiva, Vishnu, etc). They built angelic civilizations, the pyramids & monolithic structures worldwide. Genesis 1:2 Earth is DESTROYED by YHWH, and the angelic civilizations wiped out. What happened? Jeremiah 4:23-28 describes what took place! (supported by 2 Peter 3:5-6 & Isaiah 24:1, Ecclesiastes 1:9, Ezekiel chapter 31). The phrase “without form, and void” is only used twice in the Bible, and I believe they are describing the same event - destruction of “the old world” mentioned in the Bible. It is NOT USED to describe Noah’s Flood (which was REGIONAL).

I believe that there are individuals, like yourselves, Stephen Meyers, James Tour, etc. who are giving answers combating the lack of conversations about 50 years ago where facts exist that show God's hand in the Universe and the truth of Jesus's ministry. I am referring to the idea of blind faith. People are looking for answers along with scripture.

This is dumb and you don’t have to be a scholar to see it. Matt 25:31-46 is literally saying those who do good to the downtrodden is the same as doing to Christ Himself. So Wes is basically saying Jesus is lying, however, it’s his religious view from growing up in whatever Christian tradition he was brought up in, so it’s conforming scripture to that bias or point of view. And Jesus already saved everyone according to the New Testament; Paul says it plainly in multiple letters Romans 5:18 Romans 11:32 1 Cor 15:22 Col 1:19-20 1 Tim 4:10 You can read all these in their context and they don’t change the meaning of the verses. I’m guessing Wes is reformed/evangelical but not positive. Seems that way due to thinking salvation is for the afterlife and that’s not the teachings of Christ or Paul (but are read into their teachings) There are much better scholars like Pete Enns and Dan McClellan who are intellectually honest about the data in the Bible and would give Wes the same spanking Wes gave Billy Carson

Wow. After watching another podcast cover Billy's meltdown video, I thought, "He's going to use the race card." I thought so based on the absurd stuff he said in his rambling meltdown. Which, instead of helping, caused more damage. Insulting in many ways. It is very sad how often people use "isms" (gender, or race, ethnicity, and nationality) rather than self-reflection. Or even "just" letting go; not letting yourself get pulled into the egoic mind. We have enough going on without adding to it. And I believe 99.9% of the times I've seen someone using it... they were actually showing their brokenness; to put it kindly, (Wes is a great example!) 🤭. "We teach best by how we live life; Who we are instructs with absolute clarity." 🙏☮️💓✨️

Matthew 17:21 is now gone from the bible. A very important instruction on prayer and fasting. I think thats the real delema here. The omission of certain verses makes it hard to read the bible correctly. Omission by design solidifies the ignorance of the book. Thank you for the video 🙏❤️

Man is already without excuse because of the testimony of creation to the reality of God's existence. He then inspired prophets, and guided the Scriptures to be written down to show us who He is. But, as if to demonstrate the abundance of His grace, mercy, and generosity, He has given mankind even more...discovery after discovery in the world that confirm that we can trust in Him, and that we can trust the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.

I understand the sentiment that people are concerned with what this exposure could influence Wesley in the way of pride and ego. But I am concerned about how the people close to and around Wesley are responding to this opportunity and exposure of him being on the Joe Rogan Podcast. Jealousy and envy can and will lay waste like a fire bomb.

I am so blessed by the information that I am receiving from your videos. My life is convincing people to believe the truth of the Bible. I get excited learning about God's Word. I read all translations because using all translations helps me to understand even more. I love how you said by having more information is better. It's true we have been looking at all the different translations as confusing, but it's not if you love Jesus. It's like looking through a kaleidoscope of the word! Praise Jesus Christ.
