Did anyone experience food poisoning? How were the ACs in the rooms? Do the restaurants have AC? The reviews say they don’t
@latinchopsticks
@latinchopsticks 2 күн бұрын
No food poisoning for me at all, neither did my wife. The AC is great, however, there is a flaw, it's this modern type AC (I am guessing for energy saving) that is triggered by motion. So it feels great the entire time you're in the room, however once asleep, if neither person moves for a while, it does tend to shut off, so one of you has to move/or manually turn it back on. It wasn't that bad, but would be the only flaw that it has.

I appreciate the input, but I wholeheartedly disagree whit this. While yes, you don't HAVE to tip, I think generally it's such a generous way to show kindness and support to those employees making your stay that much better. Personally, it didn't take much additional to tip, and they worked like 10-14 hours shifts from what my wife and I observed. It's not much but it was to show our gratuity to their service.

I really would like to know, as an actual Korean, what makes you think this is authentic? Have you been to Korea and tried what we actually consider Korean BBQ? My criticism stems from your portrayal that you actually understand what Korean food is. Orlando has had an explosion of “K type” places, but a good chunk of them 3:14 of them are owned by Fukanese (technically Chinese). They are not remotely related to the Korean culture and so much of the “K” places often have the taste of premade marinades (corn syrup and preservatives.) The few actual Korean owned and operated restaurants do not AYCE. They serve cuts of premium meat that are actually marinated in homemade marinades and sauces. The taste differences are pretty obvious. So, back to your credentials to rate it “authentic?” How do you know it is?
@latinchopsticks
@latinchopsticks 12 күн бұрын
At the time of filming this video, there was only like 3-4 AYCE Korean restaurants in Orlando. Out of all of them, this was was the most Authentic at the time with their dish choices and the way they make most of their dishes. I have not been to Korea as of yet, I am open to learning anything I possibly can and just appreciate the different cultures of food. Please do share, but from my understanding, in authentic Korean bbq, the meat has no marinade, and the marinade seen in most places are just westernized versions. I am only here to share the different foods and share when I have (for the most part) great experiences. I have knowledge but definitely not an expert, which is why the comments are open for people to share and provide knowledge of different cultures. I appreciate your input and for watching :D

I have been eating at Brazilian buffet restaurants for over 45 years,things has really changed over the years,besides from getting very expensive,the gaucho part has gotten really bad,they pass around with the different cuts of meat only once to your table,long ago they will keep circling and stop at your table and see if the cube are on red or green...I stopped eating a lot of red meat,i prefer to pay for the buffet only....

A1 sauce is DELICIOUS , However, If your steak is cooked and seasoned properly you never need A1 sauce. The flavor, seasoning, juiciness of the steak is why steak lovers eat steak.A1 sauce is for when your steak is not good or you love A1 sauce that much you want it on every steak. To each his own but as much as I love and miss A1 on my steak In my opinion real steak lovers are there for the steaks not the very strong almost overpowering A1 sauce. Sometimes I will eat 1 or 2 small pieces with A1 sauce for the best of both worlds.

Hi, satay is great but many ppl just make sweet peanut butter I have had many peanut sauces some had a depth of flavor adding curry and other things into the sauce making it a top notch food. The proper way to make tom yum is to balance the flavors, no flavor should over power the other flavors. We always ordered tom yum goong and it was mind blowing but even in thailand its hard to find a good bowl of tom yum goong. We ate pad thai at numerous places and thipsami is the best we tried. Americans only know about pad thai and get excited hearing the name but there are other good dishes. We prefer pad kee mao which is spicy. we ate at many of the best mango sticky rice places in bangkok and the best for us was a place called yenly yours because they had many different flavored rice and they made quality product. Most of the top places for mango sticky rice taste the same lol maybe if we had them side by side but to be honest they are nearly identical in taste.. thai tea is amazing depending on who makes it and how its made. For rice pinepple fried rice is good but most of these dishes dont compare to the flavor in thailand . I have been to many places in orlando and our favorite for price, portion and flavor is mee thai on lee road. They have great curries and pad kee mao also known as drunken noodles, pad woon sen. They're satay is not great because they dont have the proper fire stove due to the size of the kitchen. Other dishes you should try are pad ka prow, they have salads called Laab and waterfall beef salad both great, They have mango salad and papaya salad which I prefer the lime version to the fish sauce version. Best wishes

@@latinchopsticks Thai curries are all good . the yellow is basically like indian curry which is pretty normal. The massaman is really nice full of spices so many flavors going on there. I think it was borrowed from another country and tastes a bit like an indian dish. The problem with massaman is that its hard to find someone who makes it good in Thailand and orlando. Honestly, you might want to skip massaman. We ate massaman at a place in Krabi thailand called D&E Jungle Kitchen. This leaves you red, green and panang curry to choose from which are all good! I recommend panang curry which uses star anise and has a unique flavor . The red is a little spicier and the green a little more sweeter in a good way. Im more about savory and not sweet. Red and green describes the color of the chillis used. I did not like the noodles for pad kee mao at first but they grow on you and many thai restaurants use different noodles for americans. You can tell them your spice level but for your info pad see ew is the same dish without the heat. She makes a good thai tea at mee thai. In thailand a wonderful dish was steamed fish with lime sauce but you cant really find it here . The sauce is so good you might want to drink any remaining sauce like I did. hahaha.
