I was born in 82 and grew up in the Bronx and man this really flashes me back to the city during that time period. I know every generation says it but it really was a different time. And it was. The last generation before technology really started to change the direction of the world. And the various shots of the city even though I was never allowed to go into Manhattan alone as a kid sure do standout.

Carmen Sandiego is one of the most interesting women in a cartoon, any cartoon. She has had videogames, board games, multiple cartoons, computer games, a game show, and then... poof. Nothing. She just dropped off the map completely. I ask you, WHERE ON EARTH is CARMEN SANDIEGO, and why isn't she on my tv anymore?

Fun fact this was my mom's favorite cartoon or one of them and when she got pregnant with my brother she was gonna name him Carmen cause they said he'd be a girl but he ended up being a boy so she named him Cameron
