There is a longer clip where they kissed, too bad this didn't show it.....great moment in time.

Other “CHICAGO” videos have their comments turned off…especially those about PETE CETERA LEAVING….. those videos ignore the monster issue, the suicide of TERRY KATH , the greatest guitarist of any genre of hard rock…. Indeed when JIMI HENDRICKS says “he is better than me”, that is something to take note of. Losing TK was a huge blow to CTA…. That said , the super groups they formed with EWF and DAVID FOSTER WERE EXCELLENT…. I think they had a gig at FILLMORE EAST the same weekend as WOODSTOCK so they couldn’t make it?

They actually named a whole genre of music after this commercial. Me and some friends played a lot of freedom roc in the 90s lol

Hi that's cool !! Faster than Dick Dale! Isn't that a Fender VI bass guitar in Olympic white? Or a bariton Fender?

2024 now….beautiful memory. RIP Dennis, Carl and Glen. Roth’s comments were hilarious. They’ve NEVER been out if style to me. The Beach Boys out-achieved all of them. My personal favorite was the Sunflower/Surfs Up/Wild Honey/Holland era. Kokomo was the cherry on top! It’s always summer and fun when their music is playing. Peace to y’all!!

If this was '72, I was just three, but I remember when my hippie Uncle would drive Grandma's car to the store, it'd be on the radio and he'd crank it up and I'd be rockin to it in the back seat with my fingers behind me under the cushions rockin back and forth to it, great song! 🙂

One of my favorites. Everything together just jammed! Peter’s vocals, the horn section, (Pankow just jams it), the beat, the change ups, what a fantastic time this was. So glad I lived it then. Saw them couple times. Dynamic acoustics in Rup arena in KY.

0:04 Taylor Swift stole a lot of stage craft from DLR. if you watch her concerts, she does this exact thing. With her mouth hanging open as if she is in awe.

Some extremely niche trivia, but the guy in the commercial was the main English voice actor/announcer in all the early Neo-Geo arcade games.

Writing an album and this sound is a big influence. Arrangement is perfect. That bass is incredible as is Glen's lick into chorus 2 and 3. Magic!

Gomer was used to living alone. He had a room in the back of Wally's filling station. Too bad we didn't get to see it, or his bedtime routine there. Smoking in bed is very dangerous. Thankfully Andy put out the cigarette, and later quit smoking for good.

…Thankfully I can visit the Diamond Mines to listen and watch Glen while I gaze at several vinyl 12” albums of Glens that I have proudly displayed in frames on my walls. This double album compilation would fit in very nicely. I’m loving discovering these rare gems…thank you so very much Tim…😍
