Sheriff Fate Thomas Davidson County Nashville, TN. 1984 NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw

Closing story on NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, of the most famous County Sheriff in America, Fate Thomas. I do believe a statue should be erected for this man as he was the face of 20th Century Nashville. Good or bad, Nashville would not be the city it is today with him for over 2 decades as "The High Sheriff", although he'd of pulled the reins in on the massive influx that has taken over the city. I also believe under today's political climate, he would have switched from Democrat to Republican or Independent for sure. Today would have been his 93rd birthday (as of new upgraded upload) & is greatly missed by "Old-School Nashville" 1926 - 2000 RIP Fate.
