Custom servers can just switch supply’s on or off for the armory’s so no supplies are lost making load outs.

@1:30 Just FYI for everyone that smoke usage isn't a tactically useful usage of smoke. :P As for the video subject, there should be global rank locks for gear as well as optional server rank locks. Limit new players to rifleman kit only until they play for a couple hours. Don't let new players build structures on official servers until they make 1-2 global rank advancements.

I gear up almost everytime I spawn and usually get a vehicle. Although I actually use the stuff until im out of ammo amd go back to get more... I think that's fair but maybe I'm part of the problem? 😅 ( I've only been playing since ps5 release)

I’m a pc player and a content creator for myself but everyone needs to also realize that these are new players and some are trying to learn. Most of these new players I been meeting are coming from hell let loose. The worse about this is in public server. no one is helping these new players but want to complain. That doesn’t help no one, so let’s stop complaining and help the new players who are trying to learn the game

Been playing this game for like almost 3 years, two things I will never understand : Why the hell are loadouts expensive ? they should be either free or extremely cheap. Why the hell are spawn points tied to objectives ?

It always feels like GTA RP server even if it isn't. Everybody needs to have people around but nobody's talking and nobody want's to lead... And sometimes when I come up as leader than nobody's willing to listen from all the sudden. But willing to die proudly... I even had guy trying to kill me, when I showed him few things. But Its kinda cool aspect of game..

And this is the reason why I rather do operations with somebody then play conflict the amount of brain cells I lose is astronomical

reforger also has a unique problem first of its kind for PC, xbox and ps5. Reforger is sitting deep within the public PvP genre. While on A3, the public pvp/pve game modes and scenarios were relatively small compared to the amount of whitelisted, closely monitored or friends of friends only operations. I will admit i am a bit jaded at how reforgers playerbase is behaving but im not totally surprised since we dont really have the AI or game modes to sequester off into our little niche corners yet and we're all just bashing into each other on vanilla or modded conflict modes and that inevitably leads to toxicity rising. I do believe tho, that we'll all mellow out eventually again, just gonna take time and remember to take a breather and if anyone is giving you shit for trying to direct them or teach them "not my job" and move on. They'll either get onboard eventually or get bored and move on.

Modded is so much better 90% of the issues are gone, was gutted after I got my friend to get it on PS5. Felt like the whole game is missing, supplies are minimal, can't see nametags far so PS5 players shoot you in the back.

Bro i just learned about the supply thing yesterday. Im a new player. The game on console, the way the menus and inputs work were so confusing. I thought get a gun, bunch of ammo and follow eveybody else to kill those enemy bastards lol. Thankfully ive come across a couple servers with some cool owners that were actually teaching me and my sons how to play this game. My first server they just blew us up cause i couldn't figure out how to change my shirt fast enough at the supply. Thats just toxic.

Take out the ability to have two primarys, change the second primary slot to rocket launchers only so people can only pick a machine gun and pistol instead of a machine gun with 8 box mags and a m4 with under barrel grenade launcher with 20 grenade rounds and a pistol etc..

The thing I’m getting very annoyed over is the spawn team killing it’s sometimes more dangerous to spawn in than be on the front lines

Read the field manual and listen to players when they say “don’t build an arsenal right when the match starts or when you take a strategic point. But they cry and troll. Reset your rank every match. Can’t get a load out until you’re a Sargent. Problem solved. Transport supplies, defend a base or two and/or transport troops successfully. Sargent is easy. Arms isn’t COD. If you’re looking for a 15-30 minute match. Go there.

This is why Squad just has premade, limited kits. It fosters teamwork and gets rid of point dumpster fires.

Wallet system. If you have to earn credits that pay for using resources, you get a better understanding of the economics in the game. Make ranking up increase your wallet size and earnings per "useful action". Earnings could be bound to anything deemed desirable behaviour.

I often just run the default loadout or maybe get an RPG or something, and just run with that. I barely use any supplies because idk what I’m doing often, and I loot bots when I kill them.

you only need to capture 2 points from AI and your ranked sergeant as long as you mark the points as an objective... the people complain ranking up is slow are the ones not marking objectives... i almost always end up with rank major when i mark objectives

i'd say it's more of a problem with the existing playerbase not educating the new people. i get it it's frustrating, but you're playing a videogame, people are wasting resources in a game, they are not eating your real life food, so there's no reason to blast off being a jackass. there's gonna be new players who don't listen, there's always this kind of people, but this aint battlefield nor call of duty, you get bored if you're not following the "rules". There's also admins who can take action against people who just want to be problem makers. The way the game works it forces people to learn how to properly play the game otherwise they won't have fun, so it's either that or they stop playing. people don't understand how resources work, what's the mechanics, even if you do the tutorial. i did it and had no clue wtf is going on. i've played for 20 hours now and just yesterday understood how the whole "radio" thing works so you can cap stuff. bottom line is it takes time for people to learn, most of the people havent played a milsim before so a lot of mechanics are new, and the ones who don't adapt will sort themselves out. just be more helping and more patient

The issue is the Xbox players and pc players. We come in, nobody says anything about supplies or how things work. People just talk shit the whole time, I've stopped playing because the community is full of assholes.

Achieving rank to unlock building the armory and weapons locks would be an easy fix and helpful, especially when a fresh game has started. If you can't kill AI with a standard M16, you need more time at the range. Ranking up in the game takes no time if you're willing to. Find a civillian or FIA supply truck, supply a few bases, kill few AI along the way and boom, you're corporal in no time. Side note... just because you CAN spawn a helicopter, doesn't mean you should. On the Us team, they burn through supplies spawning and crashing. If you'd like to become a pilot, consider spending time in game master to get better.

I'm a fan of the entire ArmA series, not a veteran but really love this series of games. I've been playing Arma Reforger since it was first published on Steam, and to be honest, I agree with some of the points you made in the video. This game is not made for PlayStation players, Arma has never been a game for everyone, especially it has never been for Call of Duty players playing on their PS5. New players often create friendly fire, constantly doing some kind of crazy thing, they rarely bring any benefit, most often they just waste team points at the base, they spawn millions of gear and vehicles and instantly lose them, they almost never play in a team even on a simple level without talking, and they go straight ahead with a machine gun in third person... And the worst thing about this is that the developers seem to be deliberately trying to simplify the game a little in terms of realism, so that it would be easier for new casual players, devs changed the damage and stats of armor and calibers, now a person can tank a whole magazine of 5.56 or 5.45 bullets.. New players and this update is truly a ruin for arma.

Arma is an objective based game but all the recent players who have joined come from either cod (lets be honest its not really objective based unless you play S&D) and dayz which teaches players to lone wolf or find a group and bully other solo players/groups which can be hella toxic because some of these groups become problems in Reforger as they usually try voting out people, tking etc and all hide in a big group trying to gaslight other players that they didnt tk whilst giggling and trying to grief/troll (usually servers with good active/reactive gms prevent this to some degree but the server im in the gm is starting to get tired with how often he has to deal with tkers)

Im a ps5 player and i learn to play i know why we cant build arsenal at the start and ect ! I fly choppers,i can play the role of bringing supplies! U just need to find the right server !
