I went pure sorcerer purely for role-playing haha. Tips in general: preparation, studying up on the bosses or any encounters, pre-planning your movements, and how their AIs work. Solo Honor mode can be cleared in multiple ways (there's no right or wrong way of clearing it). - Abuse Surprise, beat the bosses in the first turn (don't let them set up) this could be a difference from a clean kill wiping your run. 😂

Sorry, but I'm not working on any right now. 😅 About a year ago, I was actually working on a guide when my previous computer, which contained all of my saved recordings and characters (Sorcerer Warlock), broke down and I lost the computer completely. After that, I became unmotivated. I might think about creating guides, but I can't promise anything because they require a lot of effort and dedication. I still have a lot to learn about editing videos. I may use snippets from my stream, as I recently began, we'll see :)

Haha, thanks! I could look into making a video about it; no promises, though 😅. What really helps is I pre-buff with the longest timer (long rest usually), 10 turns, 5 turns, 3 turns, and 1 turn. There's also a lot of gear swapping to maximize some of the item's buffs, like Staff of Arcane Blessings, etc. You can also add custom keys on your hot bar, which really helps a lot. Hopefully this answers your questions. 😆

Unfortunately I didn't record my progress in Act 1 and Act 2; I was only playing this for fun and decided to record the Act 3 portion of this playthrough.

Yep! I'm using the mods provided in the main menu: Faces of Faerun. Really nice mods, I think "Vemperen's other hair" has some really nice female faces, but you would need a third party client to install it. 🙂

In Solo Honor Mode, I prefer Sorcerer over Wizard; it helps a lot with dialogue checks, is extremely versatile with quickened, twinned cast, extended, etc., and spells scaling off of Charisma is a huge plus. The potent robe you get in Act 2 is extremely good as a sorcerer that took the Spell Sniper Feat for Eldritch Blast, the cantrip you choose with Spell Sniper scales with your modifier (Charisma as a sorcerer), making it so you barely need to spend spell slots to kill things if you chose "Eldritch Blast". I will say, though, it's your preference; Wizard is also extremely good, as you get "Empowered Evocation" at level 11, making your magic missiles hurt a lot, and you can learn Scroll of Artistry of War, Scroll of Bestial Communion, and Scroll of Dethrone. The artistry of war is basically your delete button as a pure wizard, haha. Or, you can get Sorcerer or any magic class to 11 and dip 1 to wizard to learn any of these cool scrolls. In the end, it does depend on your playstyle. I hope this answers your question :)

​@@ludnqka Preference xD. This playthrough was me playing around with pure sorcerer. The nice thing about level 12 is you get 3 feats and permanent fly. I usually get spell sniper as my last feat with Eldritch Blast, or during Act 2 (EB), I take spell sniper as my second feat. 1 Dip in Wizard is super good, so if you're not role playing as a permanent sorcerer, I think getting that 1 dip in Wizard is well worth it :).

I personally think Ansur is one of the hardest boss in this game. He's giga tanky; he can literally 1-shot you in phase 2, and with perma wet condition, without any lightning resistance, he can dish out 100+ damage for a reaction. It's pretty insane lol. There are plenty of strong gears you can get in Act 3 that could help you and your duo in this fight, haha. Globe of Invulnerability is your best friend here. 🥲 Edit: In the recent patch, he blocks off the 2 exits with lightning-steamed clouds, so surprising him isn't an option anymore..

@@Kukutiel40411 I'm running a radiant orb cleric/ranger and she's doing a Abjuration wizard. nothing hits us and if they do they take a load of dmg. But vs like spells casters or enemies that don't physically hit its a bit on an issue :P

@@RM_3D Ooo, pretty solid comp! I like it! Sucks how Ansur's "Magic Resistance" is a huge counter to most elemental damage. One strategy that I used in my previous solos was to use summons to bait out his legendary reaction; once he used his reaction, I would go all in afterwards. The summon basically acts as a meat shield, baiting his lightning breath towards the Baldurian helmet North of the map lol! And this sounds crazy, but if you end your turn near Ansur, he will use multi-attack instead of his lightning breath idk how much that'll help you though. 😆

@@Kukutiel40411 hmmm yeh might be a good idea to end turn next to him however scary it may be xD with a upcasted armor of agathys each hit is big dmg :P

Lol yeah, I realized my stone broke in this fight. I was looking for it before going into the iron throne and Gortash.. Luckily I've done most of the big fights before losing the Resonance stone 😌

Yeah, while it's entirely optional, there are a few good reasons to go to House of Hope. Getting the Orphic Hammer, or if you made a contract to get it (which I did in this playthrough), you can get and tear the contract you made with Raphael for a good ending. He also drops the Helldusk armor, which is probably the best-in-slot chest piece for most builds. If you save Hope, she gives you the gloves of soul catching, the best-in-slot gloves for a monk.

@@Kukutiel40411 I've lost 3 now and that's the most normal of them 🤣 First one was after no hitting the Inquisitor fight, I mis-clicked in the Vlaakith conversation and got wiped. 2nd was to my own party after they turned on me on a durge run and I rolled badly to prevent (risky ring equipped) from killing Gale

I’ve got like 3 failed honor runs. I always get so angry, take a small break and come back. I think in total I’ve finished honor mode 3 times. My most recent run I tried a duo run with romanced Lae’zel and died to accidentally making Bernard hostile.

​@michaelabrahams3131 I just had the Durge saving throw with Risky Ring equipped situation as well, and of course rolled terribly. Thankfully this was on Tactician so I simply savescummed but I definitely made a mental note to unequip it for Honor mode runs

​@ Oof, yeah, honour mode can be very punishing. I've lost a run from one of the zealot in Act 2 Moonrise Towers before; the Zealot somehow crit me 2x in a row. After that I learned to never take any chances; better to be overprepared than lose 50+ hours on a playthrough.🥲

Robe of the weave is a great alternative :). But if you want to get the Potent Robe in a Durge playthrough, you can knock out Alfira in the emerald grove; once you've done that, take a long rest, and a backup NPC, Quil Grootslang, replaces her for the dark urge kill. Just make sure to toggle knockout and use only melee attacks when knocking out Alfira.😆

Raphael Fight in Act 3 will always be 666, regardless of the difficulty. He has 865 health in the earlier parts of the game; when you fight him in the house of hope, it drops to 666 health. Tbh, it's probably an oversight from the devs.

No problem! Spell Sniper Feat, in addition to the number you need to roll a Critical Hit while attacking with a Spell is reduced by 1, you get an option to pick a few cantrips with spell sniper; Eldritch Blast is one of the 6 cantrips you can choose. Now, pair it with the Potent Robe you get in Act 2, you can add your charisma modifier to your Eldritch Blast. Hope this answers your question. :)

Gear and Charisma Scaling: 18-19 Charisma = Around +4 Spell Save DC Rhapsody Passive, kill 3 enemies for a maximum of +3 Spell Save DC Amulet of Devout for +2 Spell Save DC Staff of Arcane Blessing Mystra Passive Buff (not a concentration): 1d4 Any Attack Rolls Statue of your Character purchased at the Carnival for 5k Gold for another 1d4 Any Attack Rolls (Permanent Blessing) Honestly, you can even add any Arcane Acuity build, but that's just overkill haha! Hope this answers your question. :) Edit: at some point, you can even get 99% Hold Monster on a few enemies. It's broken as hell 😆

Yeah, I just got back to playing BG3 about a week ago and decided to do a honour mode playthrough out of curiosity on Patch 7 . Unfortunately, I haven't been recording up until certain parts of Act 3, particularly only the major parts of Act 3. I'll be uploading an Act 3 full Legendary Boss fight once I finish this playthrough and possibly upload more BG3 content in the near future. :)
