I'm very lucky that I succeeded a strength saving throw during his Quake; this fight can be very difficult on Honour Mode as a caster class. Reason being his resistance to all types of elemental damage. For this fight, you need to ensure you don't trigger his legendary action. Adamantine Reverberation: not only can he knock anything within 4 meters with 4D-32 Thunder Damage, but he also gains double movement speed, making baiting him to the hammer extremely difficult.
Quake: Ensure you're as far as you could be from Grym; the further you are, he will be at a disadvantage when he uses his bonus action. Quake.
Movement is essential in this fight; ensure you pre-buff Aid and Longstrider from one of your allies or hirelings at camp before going into this battle, as it will help significantly.
Summon Minor Elemental is extremely clutch in this fight, make sure to collect this scroll.

How do you find or get so much gold to buy all those scrolls and invisibility potions? Those early levels left me strapped for gold.

​@@johnblack7554 In BG 3, there are countless opportunities to earn gold, since they can be found all over the place. I basically gather anything and sell it to vendors as I go around. The other is a stealing technique I use that is very effective in Honor mode. I combine Shapeshifter's Boon ring, Silver Necklace for guidance, Stealth ring, and Gloves of Power with disguise to greatly increase my chances and gain 1-4 extra on all checks, including sleight of hand checks. The cool thing about this is that if you manage to fail a check, all you have to do is pop an invisibility potion (be careful to make sure the enemy has less initiative than you), run away, and return wearing a different disguise. The NPC won't even know what you did and you won't suffer any negative attitude from them, so you can keep stealing until they're completely wiped out. There is a seller in the Creche. You may trade her a bag, open it while you are trading, and then drag everything she has in it. She will dump everything you put in that bag, including gold, after you kill her, which you will ultimately do. This is a legitimate way for them to recoup their inventory. This will works for every vendor you want to kill. Volo can be abused at camp; whenever you take a partial rest or rest in general, he replenishes his inventory. If you miss a sleight of hand check, he simply leaves and returns, and you won't suffer any repercussions. You can apply these in your playthrough and let me know what you think of them! @@Kukutiel40411 because it was honor mode, I didnt steal anything until lv 11 and I literally could not fail at stealing lol. Good to know about Volo though. I had no idea. Next time I go though I'll definitely use the disguise idea and keep a spare invisibility potion on me. Thanks for the idea.

I'm happy that my video was enjoyable. Volo will remain at your camp and turn into a merchant there if you save him from the goblin camp. The nice part about this is that you can keep stealing from Volo because you won't face any consequences when you fail a sleight of hand check; he simply flees and returns later. This also applies to Barcus as well. Volo's specialty is level-scaling scroll sales, so if you're at level 3, you may expect to see him selling level 4 or even level 5 scrolls, which is awesome! Level 3 is where you'll first notice lightning bolts, etc. To avoid any negative repercussions from failing a sleight of hand check, I demonstrated to you how to use disguise to steal from merchants in my Act 1 Solo honor mode video. Partial rests, which don't deplete camp supplies, reset merchant inventories, allowing you to steal from Volo several times until you obtain your desired scroll. I hope this explanation helps :)

Since Repelling Blast has the potential to OHK an enemy, I personally prefer it. Since a huge potion of the enemies in this game cannot harm you when you are in darkness, darkness is also a highly feasible option since it works well with Devil's Sight. It's like having an endless supply of invisible potion. I didn't understand why to choose Darkness when invisibility potions are so easy to obtain in this game, almost every vendor offers them.

im a fan of darkness over invis in combat bc multiple party members can be in it + you can come out->attack/go back or if ur devils sighted just stay in the dark + (most importantly for me) doesn't disappear when u take an action. most npc AI is messed up so they wont even enter the darkness to melee u unless ur on the edge. however repelling blast has great one shot utility personally played a sorlock at 4/8 so i could get full feats for spell sniper, dual wielder, asi. but its bg3, so no wrong answers, just personal preferences!

@@firtsam Darkness is also great for Shadow monk builds, works exceptionally well in many fights! Eversight Ring from act 2 or Helldusk Helmet synergizes extremely well with Darkness Spell :)

Haha, they're neutral to eachother so they'll end up fighting if you're invisible. This method is essential, especially for a solo :)
