Husband just got accepted with the 296 union. We have been living in our rv to save money for a house and waiting for military to be done with us. We decided Meridian Idaho is going to be our forever home. See you in March

Weird vid. Starts by claiming Idaho isn’t like the Deep South and then never debunks that claim. People think Idaho is like the South because it’s where California’s Nazis move to (Google Richard Butler or read the other comments here about hating anyone with “California” ie non-racist views), not because you eat roadkill and know who your neighbors are.

My advice to new Idahoans. Stop freaking out when you see us carrying a gun in public....It's normal. The gun culture in Idaho runs deep and most of us own more than 1 firearm.

I was transferred from a hospital in Eastern Washington to a rehabilitation center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and the staff there were so nice I wanted to live there forever, lol. It was my first and only time in Idaho and I've considered moving there over the years.

After seeing this video, I'm convinced that the TV will be a good fit for us. We're hoping to make it out to Idaho for good in 2025. We have just a few more things to take care of. We're really looking forward to living the Idaho life. By the way, I'm friendly with people and wave to them in California even if they don't do the same. Where I live, many people respond in a friendly way. It's about half the people I see and meet. The other half just ignore me. I always wonder why they're so fearful of people and what sadness is in their lives.

Third generation Californian here that moved to the Twin Falls area of idaho in 2020. Fair warning relocate here if your a conservative because this is the main reason I did and yes idahoans are friendly and Twin Falls reminds me of Palos Verdes California where I'm from back in the 60s. @Topidahorealestate first and foremost is that Idaho is a conservative state and as a conservative Californian they were quite welcoming 2nd we picked southeast Idaho because of the milder weather we have all four seasons which a beautiful but even though we do get snow traveling around is much easier and 3rd and most wonderful is that the Twin Falls area reminds me of California in the 60s where people are friendly and neighbors help each other. Star has an excellent coffee stand called Bordertown and its the only thing in Star worth a visit.

As a Nampa native here are some tips that sheltered people won’t tell you. Don’t hang around 4th and Northside, 2nd and 4th, 8th and 8th, 7th and 7th, or in apartment complexes on Southside Blvd unless you want trouble or absolutely have to. Don’t send your kid to Nampa high unless you want to possibly expose them to the gang and criminal lifestyle, or any school in Caldwell honestly. Don’t go to the fast mart off 6th over by the car dealership, that’s the hood store. And do not wear 49ers, Raiders, or Dallas Cowboys merch unless you look like someone who won’t fight, or you’re really down with the gang. Be safe, it’s not the same as Chicago or LA but shit can get wicked

I Purchased what I thought was drugs from my police officer. I drove down the street got pulled over by a police swallowed the evidence and was convicted of a felony no jail time no prison, but I have a feeling me on my record. This took place in California. Would it be illegal for my wife to possess a gun in our home?

Thanks Isaac. Very good overview of Caldwell and an interesting conversation with the Chief of Police of Caldwell. You made also an outstanding video about Nampa, about 4 months ago. I wonder if you could cover the issues of safety in Nampa as well. Perhaps have a talk with the Chief of Police of Nampa, like you had for Caldwell? If you google Nampa, just like Caldwell, it doesn't return a flattering view of Nampa in this respect. To the question of gangs that were dealt with in early 2000, some say, now they are coming out of prisons, and the crime will go up again. It'd be very interesting to hear what the Nampa police says about it. Would we able we feel safe in Nampa in coming years? Why google still says that Nampa is unsafe? Somebody asked the same question about Caldwell in your video. It'd be good to get answers to these questions for Nampa. Thank you!

@@Topidahorealestate Thanks so much! I am subscribed with notifications to your youtube channel, looking forward to your new or updated video about Nampa. I live in North Nampa. Absolutely loving it. However the issue of safety in Nampa keeps coming up. A Boise realtor recently put out a video - Why people are leaving Nampa (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXaqg3ewhpugbNU) and one of his most strong points was that Nampa has more crime than any other city in Treasure Valley. He also said that Sugar Factory produces a lot of bad smell all over Nampa. Yes, there was a smell problem, but in the past. The Sugar Beet factory installed a new filtration system in 2023 and the smell issue went away. It was mostly noticeable in North Nampa, because of the prevailing winds. But, living in Nampa since 2021, I can tell that the infamous Nampa smell issue doesn't exist anymore, yet many realtors still make a big CON case for Nampa in terms of the smell. I had many conversations with the Environmental Director of the factory. His name is Kyle Bair, District Environmental Manager, 208-468-6844. He can provide current information on what they did using the new filtration system to get rid of the smell that might deserve yet another video about Nampa. Thanks again!
